My PB WAHOO jumps back in the water!! | Trolling for Pelagic Fish on the Treasure Coast

We went out of St Lucie inlet before sunrise trolling for Pelagic fish off Florida's Treasure Coast. We began putting out a four rod spread using Ballyhoo with various lures. Knowing it was almost the full moon I made sure to put a large presentation on the shotgun rod for Wahoo. I used my favorite blue and white Ilander 8.25'/2.5oz Lure over a large double hooked Ballyhoo. Before I got the fourth rod out the shotgun rod hooked up and we put a nice Kingfish in the boat. We then caught a Bonito on a pink Zuker right behind our dredge. Then the shotgun rod started screaming and I knew we had a quality fish. It was a crazy scene when we saw the Wahoo stripes and my friend who doesn't have experience gaffing was about to get a crash course. The Wahoo jumped out of the boat and I thought it was gone. We had one more shot after that.

Thanks Patrick. It’s a 1997 Sea Pro 190 CC. Pretty solid little boat and I get 53 mph top end. Lots of space for the size and set it up nice for fishing with spot lock, two live wells, and plenty of rod holders
