Do you think there's a big result difference between 24mm and 35mm for travel photography?

The choice of an unique lens for travel is very personal. I understand your choice, even if it's not mine. I'll prefer wether a 50mm f:1,8 (for example the Sony-Zeiss 55 f:1,8, my favorite) witch is more versatile than the 24mm, or a one-in-all zoom like a 24-105 f:4 (but it's bigger and less discreet).

I agree with you. 24mm lens is wide lens usually for landscape I have 30mm f1.4 and 50mm f1.8 and a small zoom lens for street photography. It works for me.

I shot mostly my 50mm in Sicily. I had the 24mm Nokia 1020 for a slightly wider angle. In Morocco I'll shoot a 28-200mm and a 50mm 1.8 on film.

Your pictures in Turkey are splendid ! I love this lens : cheap, light and sharp enough to crop. But if I had to choose one lens for travelling, it will be the 40mm 2.8 stm.

Thanks! And great choice with the 40mm STM. I'd love to travel with a lens that small, but I've just found it to be too tight for the way I like to shoot.

Hello again. Three weeks ago I sold all my lenses and my Canon 6D. But I bought a new Canon EOS m5 with the 18-150 + the 22 pancake. I was not disappointed by this amazing APS-C sensor, even I got more noise in my picture. Really love my Canon 6D but it was time to let it go :). Have a good week-end.

Street or Travel photography people usually use 30 or 50mm. 24mm is wide lens generally used for landscape photography but it's your choice. Your photos look great and your 24mm f 2.8 is superb lens for bright day photography for sure. You like the lens that's your choice.

Hello, nice video and amazing pictures! I have the 16-35 2.8 from Cannon. Also using the 6D. I have a couple longer lenses, but usually only use the 16-35. When I've looked over my photos, I see I usually shoot most of my shots in the 24-28 range. Would you think that this lens would be an upgrade in quality over the 16-35 at the 24 range? I'm interested because of the weight loss this lens provides, but I'm unsure how much in quality of images I might be sacrificing. Thank you!

Frost Shots Althought I don't have the 16-35 to compare this lens with, I can tell you that this lens is very good. If the size and weight difference allows you to take your camera out more and capture more photos, I think the 24mm would be worth it. I can say this confidently because I was in a similar place to you before. My most used lens was the Canon 17-40, and I don't really miss it now that I have this 24mm f/2.8 IS!

Use any photo editing software some of them is free. Try Gimp you may..... Whats the difference between this and the pancake version. I use a canon t7i

If you use it on the T7i, they'll be the same. The advantage to the one I show on the video is that it works with full frame cameras like my Canon 6D. It gives a wider field of view than it would on a crop camera like your Canon T7i.

The one mentioned in the video has image stablization, the 24mm f2.8 pancake stm does not and is only for apsc

That is incorrect information, CamCrunch. The T7i is "NOT" a full frame camera, and so his picture will be cropped down x 1.6 times smaller than your 6D which is a full frame camera body.
