My Chaldean (Catholic Assyrian) parents left Iraq when Saddam became president and moved to Australia, the high school I went too had Persians, Lebanese and Turkish along with other races/ethnic backgrounds, i find the Persian culture similar to my background and I feel abit closer to Persians then I do with Arabs but both cultures are beautiful something about Persian culture to me is interesting because it’s unique to the other countries in the Middle East especially the one my parents are from.
