I knew when I saw her sitting on the pet store owner’s shoulder, I wanted her. I have always loved birds. I loved how she was already trained to be so friendly with people. 🥰

I love your menagerie of animals ❤️ what cuties! I’ve always wanted zebra finches but because of our cats I just feed outdoor birds right by our windows with like 3 different feeders. Thanks for showing your stash and your babies.

Awe thanks!!! Oooh those sound pretty! Ya I felt bad keeping her caged so I bought a much bigger one! Twice the size! But I had to take the cat. My son’s ex girlfriend’s dad was making her get rid of him. He had been caged for 5 months. She desperately wanted him to have a good home. I couldn’t say no. She animal sits for us so she can hang out with him too! 🥰❤️

She always does that. She is much better when she is clipped. She gets more panicked when she has flight feathers. Even when she was our only pet she did that. Maybe it’s because we do clip her? 🤷🏻‍♀️ We haven’t in 2 years because we just keep her in the cage mostly. She has a hut she sleeps in and is high enough the cat can’t bother her. 🤷🏻‍♀️
