I could rant on about how people think pregame shuichi is a yandere/stalker/psychopath and just other bad things and that pregame Kokichi is a soft/bullied kid I know people have different aus but it’s making some people think Saiouma is toxic and abusive (especially my friends)

Just because pg shuichi said something that mostly any dr fan would've said doesn't mean that he's a yandere, abuser, kokichi simp- like, it was probably to get his chances higher to be able to get on the show. Plus, it was an audition tape. In an audition you have to do your best to get selected, so of course, he needs to do his best and show all his interest in joining or else he wouldn't be able to get in. What makes him a yandere for that?- like, even kokichi was there yet he's called as a softie like huh??? Pretty sure, actual softies aren't like that.

@@Idkwhattonamemyselfyet000 definitely, and pg! kokichi did try to lead the group but everyone ignored him, I think he (like me) enjoys being in control of things and being a leader to others despite not earning the respect he expects from his peers, I also am very conflicted on the headcanons that people give kokichi, like the headcanon he was malnourished as a child makes sense but generally, I think he's just short and skinny naturally, obviously, I respect those headcanons but I don't like people making kokichi a victim in any way, it feels disrespectful to his character because he *is* the ultimate supreme leader and making him submissive is ignoring him as a whole
