Congrats on your PhD journey. Your older age is a blessing because you have more life experience that will help you better navigate your classes and research. Hi. It is not too late! You are in your prime. Go after that PhD if that is what you want. You have so much more life experience and untapped knowledge as an older student. And you will find out there will be many people your age in the PhD program. You got this!
