Excellent video! I have been smoking pipes off and on, since age nine. I'm 65 now! I have several pipes that my father and grandfather (the man who started my pipe smoking journey at nine!) gave me, as well as a few accessories. Over the years I have sadly lost a number of old pipe accouterments, dating pre -World War Two. A lot of wonderful old pipe shops have come and gone since my intro to pipe smoking! I'm happy you have a fine one near by. Please enjoy a flavorful, relaxing bowl for me! With fine reflections.

You sir, have superb taste in pipes. About a third of my pipe collection is Peterson’s. I also have a few Savinelli pipes as well. I have 26 pipes and all are estates sympathetically restored by myself. I don’t repair/ craft stems so I did send two out that needle stem replacement. Cheers.

All my pipes are calling my name, especially when I buy them, so it is not different to your experience. Most of the time this is a nice call - so this means you can never ever have enough pipes.😎

Very nice pipes & accessories. When it comes to 'how many.' it seems the common answer is 'one more,' Take care. - Jim

Loved that pouch! Will be looking for one like that. Question. Everything I get a new pipe, it seems to become my new favorite pipe. Is this normal, or is it just me?

I think we all enjoy the novelty of newness, but over time each pipe has a unique quality that makes them special smokers. It’s easier for me to identify my least favorite rather than my favorite.

The church warden pipe makes you more relaxed?? Friend a little bit more relaxed than this and you would be sleeping 😂😂😂😂 And you don’t need to smoke for that from what we can see and hear.

Nice collection. PAD (pipe acquisition disorder) can be terrible. TAD, even worse. Your channel randomly popped up, looked interesting so i subbed. 👍 Wonderfully understanding wife. Mine hates it all.
@briandawkins9843 ай бұрын
My wife is ok with it as long as I smoke in the back yard or in the garden shed and keep the pipe collection in (inexpensive) aluminum reasonably air tight tool cases. The cases are foam sponge lined, and can be custom fit so it’s perfect. Bonus points it keeps light off the pipes with vulcanite stems. Not even my mom in law can smell the slight burnt tobacco odour. And her nose is hyper sensitive to be sure, even at 85+ years of age. Do I have PAD? Possibly.

@@briandawkins984 my wife quit smoking cigs about 10 yrs ago, now has a super sniffer. I smoke in the early morning(90F in Az summer) on my front porch. She’s sleeping at the other end of the house & she says it wakes her up. She has been putting up with it more lately but every time I’m done it’s “change your clothes & take a shower!” “You smell like a wall of smoke” Obviously I don’t smoke as much as I’d like to. TAD took hold of me earlier so I’ve got a ton of tobacco to smoke up. I do what I can. lol. 👍😃☀️🌵

What make is the pouch you just shared with us? Looks like leather.

The only indication are the letters “MT” embossed in the material.
