I haven't noticed a smell with mine, even when I take out the jewelry. Maybe it's because I wash them twice daily, or it's not extremely noticeable. Also, your guinea pig sounds so cute!

I heard somewhere that the lower quality silicone is more irritating. Try a really good brand and maybe that'd help? You could try emailing a company before you buy and ask them about their silicone products.

i know i’m super late to this video but i loved this video! my lobes are stretched too, i’m actually the same size as you! 1 inch, 25 mm. i think i may be a LITTLE bigger than an inch but i mainly stick with wearing 1 inch. i can only wear stone and wood. i’ll wear RARELY silicone (they’re not great to wear long term, i worry considering they’re porous which can harbor bacteria). i love stainless steel simple tunnels as well, always safe and good for your lobes.

In the U.S, you can get I think all of these plugs from Soscene.com for really cheap, and you get a 3rd pair free when you buy two pairs. So if you like these, that's where I would check. I also wear 25 mm so I checked this video to make sure some of these dont look goofy in a large size before I order them (I'm gonna get them from soscene.com. way cheaper than something like Bodyartforms, who I usually use)

i noticed my stretched ears don’t smell at all. i was expecting them to smell but i don’t think they do. i use jojoba oil on them everyday do you think that’s why?
