Thank you for sharing. I understand what you are going through. SSRIs have also been my saving grace -- although, like you, I still occasionally have breakthrough symptoms. I'm so glad I finally tried the SSRIs. For years, I was scared of trying any medication and it really cost me a lot of wasted time and some regrets. I encourage all women to give anything and everything a try.

Thanks for sharing, I was recently diagnosed. I'm still shocked that this is really a thing but the symptoms are real. For me, I could never get enough sleep or I'd have insomnia. I would drink heavily during this time also which made things even worse. Messed my whole relationship up with the rage and nit picking.

what kind of meds. that is how I feel. I am ashamed to take medications. I am ashamed to tell someone but I am scared that one of my episodes may cause me my life. I had a bad attack this time. I had thoughts of suicide. I was shaking, crying, nervous, panic, It is bad. I am not alone. No one understands

+twinkle Bell We live in a society where people will make you feel ashamed for taking a medication for your brain. Your brain is an organ just like your heart, liver, kidney, etc. But no one would dare make someone feel ashamed for taking their heart medicine. If it works for you, take it. Do not suffer because of shame. You can do this. You will get through this and figure out what works best for you.
