@@lyonheart84 I'm 7 genus short of having at least one of each, to complete the Cycadales order 😅 Of course, one day I'll make it, God willing, if I'm alive for at least another 10 years 😁 To think that there's people with the complete collection of over 300(somewhere near 350) species it's really something else... bur of course we're talking about millionaires 😂

You have a fabulous collection of cycads. thanks for posting . I have only the very common in North Florida sago palms. Sometimes called king sago because there are also queen sagos. Have the coontie which is becoming more common as they easily grow ftom seed. I do have a dion name unknown very cold hardy.

@@jamesh.maloyjr.6940 rarepalmseeds. They're based in Germany. Some seeds, like Encephalartos usually are EU only, but I think they ship most Cycas seeds worldwide. The thing with them, what I bought so far was OK, except some Pandanus monotheca that had mold, cycads where all good, then a friend who's a long time client of them, bought a pack of each of ALL of their blue colored cycads, like Cycas cairnsiana, C. cupida etc. and, they where horrible! 2 out of 10 seeds had an embryo inside. So... it's a gable. I've targeted their cheapest ones, and they were OK.

@@TropicalGardeningCyprus wow Germany is a cold climate surely there are other places that would be better for seed. Honestly I've only grown king sago from seed and they are so prolific in the Florida panhandle they are easy to find. And I used to be a gardener for somewhat well to do clients. But so cycads other than king sago and counties. There is a website houzze you can Google they have many forums of different plants now I'm no longer on there but you might enjoy looking at I was into ginger's, banana's and old rose's and there were experts on this site. Pretty sure there is a cycads forum also . Houzze used to be called gardenweb I think. You may be familiar with it already.
