Beautiful birth story !❤️ I delivered all 7 of our children unmedicated, in the hospital . I could relate to EVERY detail of your story . Carrying , birthing ,and raising children is such a beautiful miracle from God ! I feel truly blessed . I’m so happy for you and your husband . By the way , we have 6 sons and 1 daughter!❤️ I had seven children in ten years . I’m now 52 and our first grandchild is 7 mo.old . And yes, it’s a girl !💞

You are such a breath of fresh air. I recently just had my first back in October. She is truly the light of our life. We did not have a great hospital birth experience but hope to have a positive home birth in the future! Thank you for sharing - I love watching your stories on Instagram too (real mom life moments) so sweet and so happy for you !

Thank you for sharing! I love birth stories. My two births couldn’t have been more different. My first with Pitocin, epidural and forceps (and I was very bitter later about how the doctor “managed” the entire process to fit his schedule) and my second at the hospital but natural. I said if I ever had a third I would have it at home. I love your videos of Ella. You’re an amazing mom. Mothers need to support and encourage each other. It’s the toughest job in the world!

You are so kind, thank you for your words of encouragement! It's amazing how with each birth we know more and are more confident as mamas! The first birth it's all so unknown and new - it's hard to know, what you don't know if that makes sense! I hear a lot of stories from moms who do not have a great first hospital birth experience, and then their second / third is much better! xx

You are very lucky to find a midwife who eased your worries and answered your questions. Homebirth indeed is very convenient or a growing family. You get to do parenting while on labor. Having your mother-in-law as a backup pair of hands must be comforting. Congratulations on having the homebirth that you wanted and not having to worry about your toddler.

Such a beautiful birth! My first was a girl and a birth center birth. Our story is so similar. Hoping for a home birth when we are pregnant again!

Such a beautiful birth story. Beautiful pictures! A home birth looks so much better than a hospital. Hospitals treat everyone the same. And I was stuck on a bed and had to have an IV even without meds!

Thank you!! Home birth is so wonderful! I felt so calm and relaxed the majority of the time! Being stuck in a bed / not having freedom to move about would be so hard! I know not everyone can have an out of hospital birth - but it's really amazing if unmedicated is for you! It also helped me have way less postpartum anxiety just being home and feeling so supported in my own environment!

I had a back labor and an induced one with pitocin. Got epidural for both, but I must say, as hard as the back labor was, pitocin is just evil

We just made the decision to birth our second at home for the same reason! I can’t imagine being separated from my toddler for 3 days, even if I know she’s in good hands.

That's wonderful! Congrats!! A home birth can be SO amazing! I absolutely loved it. So peaceful, nice to have my own food and bed and space and know my daughter was peacefully asleep in her room!

Any advice for a homebirth? This will be my 5th birth and first time not having any mediation. 3 out of the 4 births previously the epidurals failed and it makes me wonder how much they failed 🤔 Im nervous, I won't hold my composure.

I would read this book: amzn.to/3l9mrUE It was really helpful for me! I also loved this hypnobirthing course which provided a lot of education and confidence in my home birth journey and taught me how to breathe though contractions and essentially handle each stage of labor: thepositivebirthcompany.co.uk/digital-pack Also based on what my midwife shared with me - it's more common for women to lose their composure than to stay composed during an unmedicated birth. I believe going into it, knowing that being vocal, moving around etc is not only totally natural and normal - it can help the process! Learning as much as you can about an unmedicated birth can also really help :) Wishing the best!! xx

I love this! Thank you for sharing! Do the midwives push on your uterus like they do in the hospital? That was the worst part for me 😩and I always wondered about that
@HealthyGroceryGirl3 жыл бұрын
I do remember her doing that just a tiny bit but my placenta was ready to be done and out so it was quick! I would think it just depends on the person and what their body needs too :) At the hospital after my first, I do remember the midwife pushing all around my stomach and right after giving birth it's like - oh no, please just give my body a break! Even though I know it was for a good reason :)

If you have a 3rd (haha) invest in a tens machine. It was so wonderful for both my natural births (I am a back labourer as well).
@HealthyGroceryGirl4 жыл бұрын
My husband suggested we get one!! But I was feeling maxed out with all the costs to have a baby at the time. Knowing now that I labor with intense back pain, I agree with you that a Tens Machine would be worth it!!

@@HealthyGroceryGirl look into getting one on loan from your midwives .. that's what I did. The unit is shared but the wire and sticky patches are replaced for each new mom. (At least in Canada).

We didn't! It was just my husband, me and my midwife. Then another midwife joined us when it was time to push so there were 2 midwives present. I wanted to be as alone as possible or alone with just my husband. We just set up the camera in the corner to record pushing and my husband / midwife snapped some photos for us.
