Hello. They did not give a specific time on how long you need to stay in the province that nominated you, but there’s a form that you will need to sign which is the Consent and Declaration form, and it says there that you need to reside in NB.

Hello. I only submitted the front side of my photo. And i think submitting the back side with the signature is just for paper based application.

Hi Abbie...for the NB PNP nomination, did you have to submit bank statements as well or just the pay stubs and T4 slips??

Hello. If you are claiming points for the work experience, you have to submit bank statements that will reflect the payment from your job. But since we did not claim points for work experience, we only submitted bank certificates just to show that we have funds available, and T4 tax forms from all the jobs we had here in Canada.

Congratulations to you 🎊 👏 a quick question, for the PNP nomination PR application, did you have to show proof of funds since you were both employed at the time of submission and did any of you qualify for CEC? Was it through EE or not? Thanks.

Hello Nicola! 1. Yes we both submitted bank certificates/statements. For the PNP non-express entry, there’s no minimum amount for proof of funds. (I am not sure if they changed that) 2. I qualified for the CEC and just trying to get the required number of hours, but I got laid off last winter, and it was a slow season so getting full time hours per week is not guaranteed so we just decided that my husband will be the principal applicant so we can apply right away. 3. It was through non-express entry. Hope I answered your questions. 😊

We can definitely show the bank statements that would outline transaction history and such but I wanted to know for sure that there was no minimum amount we needed to show. We have started to increase our efforts to save so we can at least have some to show. I'm sorry to hear that you were laid off. I hope that things have now improved. Hello! Yes, you can get PR with a 2yr Diploma in NBCC, but keep in mind that there are also other factors to consider when applying for PR like work experience, employer eligibility, language eligibility, etc. and it depends on the PR program you are going to apply.

Hi Diana! Yes, you will still need to submit an FBI clearance, as they need police certificates for all the places you live or visited for more than 6months in the last 10 years.

Hello! You can still apply for the NB PNP even though you studied in a different province, but you need to have work experience that is the same with the TEER of the job offer. That is from my own understanding, and this is what it says in the NBPNP Skilled Worker Stream guide: “International graduates Work experience is not required for international graduates, with a minimum one-year degree, diploma or certificate from a New Brunswick university, college, trade or technical school, or other accredited institute and are eligible for a post-graduate work permit.”

Hello! There’s no specific timeline on when you will receive an ITA, I think it just depends on how fast they will be able to check your application. It can take days, weeks or months.

Hello. Yes. But if you have a spouse or partner, and he qualifies for one of the pr programs, he can apply for pr. But there is a rule that the student still have to finish their study program, not sure if this changed.
