It’s all good…I’m kinda happy it only got a few loyal customers 😅 In the end, I was never fully sure I could have handled volume because of how much I got going on. And ultimately my content is aimed to help everyone pre-grade successfully on their own. I hope my content helps people possess these skills 👌

I may have missed it in the video, but I was wondering if it is fine to use the sock on the surface of the card or only the back? Thanks
@littlevictoriessportscards1972 ай бұрын
For paper cards you can use the sock on the front and back :) For chromium stock, just be gentle/careful using a sock on those ones. I would recommend using a microfiber cloth on chromium cards.. Thanks for watching! LV

Thanks for all the advice! Do you sell your slabs BIN or at auction? If BIN, Have you had problems with offers not being paid for after accepting? Thanks 🙏
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
No problem 👍 Thanks for always watching. I only sell on eBay BIN with best offer. And don’t really have a problem with people not paying since most of the time it’s automatic payment required 👌

Any tips for finding clean cards on eBay? I have been inspired by you and another creator on YT to summit more and test my grading skills. But I am sometimes discouraged by the number of surface issues I find on cards from Ebay that had nothing disclosed in the listing, but the corners and centering were perfect.
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
The best you can do is inspect the pics really well for centering and any white showing on corners and edges. Unfortunately it’s just a matter of luck whether you get a nice surface :( My only advice would be to buy in quantity (20 or more items at a time) and that way half will be in gradeable condition. And buy from sellers with great feedback, and from sellers you don’t grade cards themselves 👍 Best of luck, and happy card hunting! 👌
@Kohnbread197 ай бұрын
Thanks! I follow that advice of buying from those who don't seem to be grading cards themselves. I am starting to try to buy more from one seller at a time so I stop having 10-30 packages a week coming in. My wife is losing her mind at the quantity. @@littlevictoriessportscards197

Will do! Should have a reveal video up tomorrow or the following day. I’ve noticed turn times have slowed down over the last couple weeks. You seeing the same thing? Was really digging the 3’ish week turn times while they were happening
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
Definitely have slowed down, but overall still looking like 30-35 total days, which I'm good with :) I'm thinking psa makes a big push to get all these new years special orders down completely by the end of this week or next. @@3pt-cards

Appreciate the time spent explaining, super educational! Question I've been wondering, outside of time save and effort, is there a reason you send off what seems to be a lot of the raw cards to resell on COMC rather than through your eBay store? I probably have ~1k raw cards on my store from over the past few years that from effort and time spent alone getting those listed, I haven't thought about making the switch to COMC to sell.
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
Great question 👍 So other than saving time and effort, my main reason for not wanting to sell raw cards on eBay is returns. You get a lot of picky eBayers wanting raw cards to be gem mint, then open cases, open returns, cause me headaches. So I just send em to comc and they deal with everything 👌
@kevingoeller88367 ай бұрын
I have also started to transition to COMC, I took all my ungraded down from eBay. I only use eBay for raw if it is time sensitive ie playoffs or championship game coming.
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
smart! And yes, time sensitive cards are still important to sell on ebay. For example.... if you have a raw card from a product just released you might want to sell that quickly on ebay too. @@kevingoeller8836

odd you overlooked the upper left front corner on the Chauncey chrome card...from my vantage point, it looks to be lifted or bent...
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
I just checked the Chauncey card, and that was actually just a tiny smudge that wiped right off, no real lifting or bend 👌 But it wouldn’t have mattered cuz the hulking would have trumped it 🤪

whats your normal gem rate?
@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
My gem rate is tricky cuz I don’t just do newer cards…I like variety, and the cards I grade range back to 1980 til now 👌 But if I had to say…I’d say my gem rate overall is usually around 40-45% 👍 Thanks for watching 🙌

@littlevictoriessportscards1977 ай бұрын
If I ever think they’re taking long, I just reflect back to the pandemic times when they took 1-2 years per order 🤣 I’ll take 30-35 days all day 👌
@keithdefreitas33997 ай бұрын
They don’t take long bro. If you can’t wait to get the slabs back because you need the money to sell them then that means you shouldn’t be spending money on grading in the first place. Build up a huge inventory of raw cards and when you can afford to grade without depending on that money then do so.
