She couldn't do that when Nothing was a cub since she would be too small and once Quickmane took over the pride she might have never had a chance to be alone with Nothing? So when she noticed she was getting weaker and assumed she was about to die she went for it, even in front of the cubs Who knows Maybe just a plot hole, but I doubt that's the case. Rewatching this again after a while made me realise that Lite murdered Kyoga's love and partner the same way Suns killed Azra's without remorse. The fact that they are all the respective chosen ones by each of them, makes for a very interesting parallel. And that's one of the things I love about My pride. You discover something new whenever you watch it. It's amazing. This show is a masterpiece.

I think the best (and saddest) part of this episode is how much it reveals about the Goddesses. We already knew that both Suntz and Azra are prone to fits of passion, and that Cansu is kinda the middle ground, but this episode really shows how fallible they are. Azra is mad about all the suffering Lite caused, but now that she's in hiding she's helping to prolong the cycle of Pride Law AND has trapped all the ghosts on Earth. She's added even more suffering and is now just running from the problem. The Goddesses can obviously interact with the mortals, but she's made no attempt to explain the TRUE story, despite everything. Suntz is mad that Azra interfered with the mortals, but she's literally immediately did that exact thing. She burned down the Emerald Valley AND is making dry seasons worse every year- and Cansu was very clear that Suntz's anger IS causing that. And Suntz is doing NOTHING to stop that. Cansu, obviously, failed to stop the fires (although I don't BLAME her for that), but she shows the most compassion for the living lions. She really tries to help them, but I also feel like she shies just a BIT from everything she could be doing. She's the RAIN Goddess. It's not infeasible that she could say, "f*ck weather patterns", pull a Suntz, and make it rain for a week or something. She also never tells anyone what REALLY happened, despite obviously being able to prove she is a Goddess. And while her behavior implies that this is not the first time she's watched Kyoga/Nothing live her life and continue the cycle, she still places a significant burden on Nothing to solve a problem DEITIES haven't been able to. DEITIES The same ones that are currently making the world end. I just super appreciate this episode. They might be Goddesses, but they remind me more of the Greek/Roman pantheon than "God". And I just love how all of this exists and is implied, without being spelled out. This series is just so amazing!

I guess the thing is that the goddesses shoudn't intefer with mortal lifes, but Cansu is the only that actually don't. Azra and Sunce are just too immature so when something don't go as they meant or wanted, they get mad and do something about it (also, it may be possible that Sunce don't know that she's making the dry season worst and would get mad if Cansu did anything about it, so Cansu tries not to interfer). And Cansu only interfers when she is needed, like giving Nothing the info she needs to go after Azra or talking to Hover that Nothing is alive, but she just let the things go as they have to be, without much interference

The more I think about it, the more genius and terrifying Pride Law is, especially knowing what we now know about Lite. He created a system where lionesses would always be under the control of their manes, specifically banning two lionesses from being mates since they need to serve their mane first. That way, he would never be the one to lose control again. He even weaponized Azra, the one who cursed him, as a way to instill fear. He made everyone believe that a lioness who dares walk alone and not adhere to Pride Law will not be taken to the stars after death. You'll notice, however, that the Law doesn't mention what happens to a no-mane who dies. We also don't see Quickmane or Feather roaring for Sharptongue. There's no mention of anyone roaring for Starmane or Quickmane when they died. Everything about Pride Law forces the males to be toxic and aggressive in order to win their prides, and makes the females obey the Law, even to the extent of mating with the one who killed their cubs, because to disobey is to doom their souls.

Honestly, I don’t think either are completely in the right, or in the wrong. We have to put ourselves in the shoes of each character... and I understand both Kyoga and Lite’s motivations I can’t blame Lite for being angry with her considering they way she left him. She should have been honest with him... and ultimately with herself. She was wrong to just leave without a word, and tell him through a messenger... especially considering he had been lead to believe that she loved him until then. She also left on their bonding day! She definitely should have asked to speak with him before everything went down... and if he refused then that would have been his problem. I do understand being scared to do so however, considering all the pressure she was put under. It’s never easy, but nothing worthwhile is... and she deserved to be happy without triggering a war. With that said ... Lite shouldn’t have stared a massive war over it. I understand being hurt, but I don’t understand killing hundreds. Not to mention, he built pride law... and that just sucks all around. Clearly he let his pain take control and run things, which is never good! Honestly, this is why I love this show! Each character is well developed with understandable origins and motivations. Even the villains. It makes the story all the more real and relatable. There are a lot of ways to connect this to our current society. Keep at it! You’re touching a lot of people!

But after seeing how he literally killed hundreds of lions in this fruitless war... I would be very afraid of what he's capable of. I understand that shock and grief can lead to bad decisions, but Lite kept up that war for a LONG time (as you mentioned). LOTS of subjects died, his own and the others, which he clearly does not give two shits about. I'm actually curious if he would end up being the "villainous Karabi" that he described, and kept Kyoga against her will (likely by threatening a war). Who knows! It's all fascinating writing!

If Feather is Lite... it may be much easier to break the cycle than previously thought. Nothing wont have to kill him this time because they’ve bonded while in the stretch and Feather wants to end Pride Law which breaks the cycle ‘he’ started if he is Lite. Rewatching the episodes and seeing all the clues of Nothing having memories of being Kyoga is mindblowing. The foreshadowing has been so subtle and well written.

I'm gonna stop the argument before it starts: Kyoga SHOULD have told Lite about her love for Karabi. Karabi SHOULD NOT have just convinced her to run away with her. Lite SHOULD NOT have started a WAR based on LIES. Lite killing Karabi in cold blood is MURDER which is WRONG. Lite was also very clearly POSSESSIVE of Kyoga (note him constantly asking her to look at him that reads as possessive) which is also bad. Everyone was in the wrong here, but Kyoga is the one who is the biggest victim-she was a victim of circumstances out of her control. As for the goddesses: I PERSONALLY think Sunce just needs to grow a pair and apologize to her sisters-HER chosen caused a war between her two sisters' kingdoms (the moon kingdom got caught in the crossfire of Sun and Rain), HER chosen killed Cansu's chosen in cold blood, and HER chosen created Pride Law which causes suffering to this day. Also also if there's one thing lions and cubs get right about the story it's this: Kyoga DOES indeed do literally nothing but act sad lol. Spark got that right at least lol.

So, in the episode “My Pride Lore: Goddesses” it discusses who each goddess guides. As it talks about Cansu, Hover is shown, and Karabi was from the Storm Kingdom. As it talks about Asra, it shows Nothing. And as it talks about Sunce, it shows Feather, and Light was from the Sun Kingdom. I think that’s another point for the Feather being Light reincarnated theory.

As i think that scene was just showing how lite made pride law like or whatever. Another thing is that he looks much differnet from lite, like nothing and koyoga both look the same, same eye colour same fur colour and almost the same personality. But with proudmane he isnt exactly love torn or rude hes more humble then anything they both have vary differnet personalities from one another also they both dont have the same eye colour. Looks dont always mean everything but if its a reincarnation of lite you'd think they'd have almost the same markings or fur, or at the vary least have traits that match one another. Idk just something i wrote down or thought of :p

Yo. The end song literally describes how nothing feels when she wakes up. She even repeats the first line. "It was just a dream". After hearing this song for 7 glorious episodes, hearing it here was like taking a blindfold off. This marks a significant milestone in the telling of this story. As of now we have a full understanding of the world and the history relevant to the plot. We also see the classic hero called to action. This is amazing keep up the amazing work.

If we look at the Pride Lore episode of the Three Goddesses, we see that each mention of the goddess shows a specific character. First, for Cansu it showed Hover; second, for Sunce it showed Feather; and third, for Asra it showed Nothing. Therefore I believe those are the reincarnations of Kyoga, Karabi, and Lite. That’s why Cansu was surprised Nothing didn’t want to leave Feather to die out in the stretch. Nothing is already breaking the cycle!

Considering he was hurt and betrayed by someone who effectively lead him on and made no effort to push away his romantic advances, then just up and ditched him and he was later punished promptly for his actions, that will easily leave a very negative impression on anyone toward the LGBT. Now, mind you, I do NOT justify his genocide, but also can say for a fact that Kyoga also did things wrong here and those actions are effectively what caused Lite to just lose it. It hurts like fuck to be outright betrayed by the one you thought you could rely on and trust, Lite is no different.

This a prime example of good writing. Everything comes together with a seemingly solid solution, and multiple unexplained events suddenly make more sense. Yet, there is still room for mystery and desire for more. Who is Ghost? Was Sharptongue's end to the story the same as Rain's? Who is Light in this life? Whats going on with Hover, Powerstrike, and Farleap? Just *chefs kiss* The voice acting and animation are already good, but its the storytelling and plot that make a series like this. This episode has to be one of the strongest. When you said this part of the story was ambitious, you weren't kidding.

After watching episode 10, hearing Lite say "You abandoned me, without a word?" Really makes me fear for how Feather is going to turn out in the next season. (Since the theory is that Feather is Lite reincarnated.)

It seems Asra has always been more partial to the mortal lions then Sunce, who’s more keen to just leave them to their own devices. In episode 6, in the story Nothing tells, Asra lives among them because she falls in love with a mortal and Sunce sees this act alone as reprehensible. We see the same thing happen here, Asra interfering because Lite won’t leave her chosen and mate alone, and Sunce enraged because not only did Asra interfere, but she directly cursed Sunce’s own chosen. And again we see Cansu is the one stuck in the middle, trying to fix things. In episode 6 by forcing Sunce to give some of her soul for Asra to grow new eyes (something I’m certain Sunce was probably not happy about) and here by trying to put out Sunce’s flames and getting her sisters to reconnect and make peace. Wonderful characterization for the goddesses that’s not only consistent but goes into their respective symbols as the Sun and Moon are often seen as opposites. Fantastic job!

Y’know, just from random theories I’ve made in my head, my brain started circulating around this one- There was confusion from me as to why Azra was connected to Kyoga, and I think I have a theory about why. Earlier in the series, I think it was Rain- told a story about how Azra had snuck down to earth and had fallen in love with a mortal. It also said that when Sunce(suns?) found out, she was so enraged that she killed Azra’s love. But it weirdly aligns with Kyoga’s story - she was azras chosen, she fell in love with Karabi, Lite was Sunce’s chosen, and Lite ended up killing karabi. In the story it also mentioned that Azra took the spirit of her loved one to the stars with her, and when Kyoga took the form of Azra, she took Karabi’s body with her. Then rain said that Azra disappeared after. My theory is that Kyoga *IS* Azra, and since Nothing is Kyoga, that would mean that Azra’s soul lives in her somewhere, it would explain why the other goddesses get so mad whenever she’s injured. But maybe that’s just my brain speaking, it just seems obvious. Also bonus theory: Rain says that “ghosts walk around without anywhere to go to”, and when Ghost gets introduced, they say “*We* are called Ghost.” I think ghost is the body that holds all the spirits that are wandering around, to temporarily keep them at peace until Azra returns. Plus the fact that Tangle in able to talk through Ghost in episode 9.

“He’ll come to you darling. He always does.” Feather came looking for Nothing when Quickmane attacked her. Edit: also realized this is Asra’s second time interfering with mortals. Maybe Sunce is angry because Asra fell in love with a lioness instead of a lion, thus why Asra was so enraged she cursed Lite?
