Just got back from Conrad Maldives on a rewards trip. Honestly it is incredible! Having gold or diamond status does help and we managed to upgrade to a 2 bedroom overwater villa for only 40% the cost of the difference between our standard room and the overwater villa. However be prepared for a hefty check out bill as food is expensive and trip costs will add up. Along with that 20 minute seaplane ride.... and every thing is ++

2.2 million points per night... I put 60+ nights and ~$30k in expenses (restaurants, airfare, rental car, etc.) on my Aspire last year and did the SUBs for the Surpass and regular Hilton Honors card and I just cracked 1 million points, which I thought made me hot shit. Thanks for flexing and bringing me back down to earth. Sadly the only thing I can relate to regarding your travels is how ubiquitous plastic waste has become in our oceans, from South Point to South Beach. Also congrats on your Player 2.

We also stayed in Conrad Maldives for our honeymoon back to 8 years ago. We regretted of going there at the end. The weather was extremely hot and the food was not impressive at all. The overwater villa that we stayed at was just so so. I dont remember exactly how much we spend on the room, probably over 1000 dollars per night, it was not worth the money and the time.

Great content and congratulations. I have been fortunate enough myself to go the Maldives the last few years in a row. Nowhere in the same league as Waldorf Astoria but the Holiday Inn Kandooma is a great option for those looking for a resort destination on a budget. It is the same ocean after all. The Maldives will definitely put your outlook on life into an entirely new perspective.

John Jacob Astor Estate at St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is certainly one of the best here. It's a 3 bedroom villa though, perfect for the family and friends to holiday together.
