My progression with Blender 3D in 2 years
-Blender Reel 2016-2018 With the cycle engine.
From really crappy renders to (almost photorealism).
I've been inspired by people like Andrew Kramer, Andrew Price..
It was quite easy for me to learn Blender. I tried Maya and the interface seems a bit harder to learn.
*Not all the Cars models in this video are from me. The raptor is from Ben Jewer.

Skyline Studios RC congratulations, i personally use Maya and zbrush which I have also been doing since 2016 so I fully understand your journey. I can tell you are very committed and I have also felt like I have progressed allot in the past two years as well (:. The first few months for men were difficult because learning the software UI and hot keys isn't very fun and the first few things are never amazing. But in the end the results are incredible. Well done (: do you have some kind of online portfolio I can see in more detail?

@@xaviermaster1 It is difficult to say when you are a professional. There are so many functionalities in Blender that you can get really good at them. It always depends on what you want to do with Blender. How quickly you find your way in Blender also depends a little on the person. It is therefore difficult to specify a time. I've already created "almost" realistic scenes, but I wouldn't call myself a professional by a long shot. There is always something new to learn.
