MISFIT K9 are training their dogs in protection - to competition level. Based in Maryland, US, head trainers Dez Lynch, 33, Nic Tolson, 33 and OJ Blagmon. Jr, 35, put their dogs Luca Brasi and Black Doug - both bandogs - and Drop Top Wop - an American Pit Bull Terrier through their paces. Dez owns five-year-old Luca Brasi and described him as the ‘best dog’ he has ever owned and how their bandogs are excelling as working dogs. Dez, Nic and OJ have been dog trainers and decoying for a number of years but came together to set up Misfit K9 in 2016. Dez told Barcroft Studios: “I think this Misfit K9 is training the best dogs in the United States.”

As a former KNPV decoy, I know the risks of training these dogs. But we always have the decoy standing upright when the dog has to let go. A former decoy of the club I trained at did have a bite to the top of his head before they made it a hard rule to always have the decoy standing when possible (or be ready to make the situation safe and pull the dog back if the decoy can't get up). I've never heard of someone needing facial reconstructive surgery here, you know you got a real one if you continue training after that!!!! So props on keeping going, I hope you guys keep safe and if you haven't I would encourage you to watch a knpv competition to see how they do it. That would never be in a compromising position like at 3:30, since you'd have to be real lucky to push the dog over you and not get bit. Standing up, most if not all working dogs can of course also easily reach your head but at least you'd have a chance to step back

It's good to live in Russia - I can safely go out at 3 a.m. to walk with dogs and I don't need dogs trained to protect me for this - in general, the very presence of a dog scares bad man away, but there are no complete psychos on the street, who wouldn't care if there are dogs. Living in the city, it is dangerous to have a dog of this kind because it can think by itself and make an attack on a passing by human taking wrong some of his actions. My dogs seek protection in me, for them I'm not the one who needs to be protected.

It ain’t just this kind of bread that is dangerous in a city it is any kind of bread, pitbull are the most loving caring and loyal, the most respectful dog I have ever had, so by saying having this bread in a city is pretty much dangerous that isn’t accurate,
