Great video Stuart. Your bells sound good and the overview of each bell is excellent and I’m glad that these bells, especially the Corigan Road teardrop have gone to a good home and not to the scrapyard. Congrats on reaching 500 subscribers! I’ll post a video of my bell collection soon.

Congratulations on 500 subs! You have a great collection of bells, just wondering is it safe to run the bells on the power supply? I'm thinking of getting one as electromagnets really drain my batteries lol. Also, I think your first teardrop shown has an older gong, as it produces an odd low pitched tone. This is similar to Moscript St and Nunn st. Also the Ivanhoe hybrid bell currently resides with me :)
@108CAM3 жыл бұрын
It’s always good when you know witch crossings your bells came from.
@stuarthunt1013 жыл бұрын
Thanks man :) yeah, it's safe as long as you don't overpower the bells, as in adjust the voltage to higher than recommended, which for my bells is 12 volts. Nice, I'd like to see a video of that one soon

Excellent video Stuart. I'll have to have a look and see what number is on my Westinghouse hybrid bell. My Westinghouse hybrid bell originally came from Ballarat and was used at Lydiard Street before it was replaced by a e-bell probably after 2010 but I'm not sure of the year

Fantastic collection of crossing bells there stuart. Great that you got the teardrop from Corrigan rd. I wonder when it last rung for a train before you got it. Maybe it was as long ago as 1984 when that crossing got boom gates. I really liked how detailed this was and how much effort went into it and it turned out great!
