I use him with Scorpion. That Sub Zero setup is cool but in my opinion it doesn't beat how Scorpion can extend his combos. Not to mention you can meterless launch from any string and you can do really high damage combos that switch sides if you want.

Plus something I just learned a few days in... you can use the Scorpion overhead to create a 50/50 mixup that can full combo from either. Well the overhead doesn't combo from the f2 but it's still pretty unreactable and I got up to 280 damage from it, and from the low you can get like 460

I main rain and my combo is similar to yours but way easier and it does lots of damage you need frost cameo then do foward y x amplified water fall (i think idk the move) then y b a then amplified gyser and the combo is hit

After stun because it’s considered a juggle even tho they’re on the ground, and with whirlpool set up it’s probably because they’re not blocking low and getting hit by the whirlpool and F32

@@heymarkis_ yeah no problem. It’s hard to simulate the rain pressure in training, you can always set them to stance hold block and set them to duck and it’ll be somewhat similar. If they’re set to block stand you’ll hit the cpu with the low in the string and if you set them to all you can practice the grab cancels

I believe it is his damage output! In mk11 he doesn't do a lot of damage compared to his mk9 version! Probably due to him not having no hydro boost in mk11! In mk1, the kameo system helps him and the rest of the roster get quite some damage!

Damage, speed and kombo potential. Rain here in MK 1 plays a lot better than MK 11. Seeing how Rain plays here shows he has really great kombo potential. In 11 he lacks speed, range, damage and kombos

What you are seeing here is the player 2 hit box bug. This is why you're uneable to land the combo. Hopefully, they will fix this soon.

That is not true here. With sub/rain, that combo needs to get hit perfectly in air for it to work. If opponent is a little further away, sub will miss always.
