My Ranking Of Every International PVZ Game

(Of course right when I finish this video PVZ3 soft-launches)
So, the PVZ games are a pretty unique spectacle, aren't they? Each and every single entry is unique in their own ways, and in today's video, I figured I'd give my honest thoughts and rankings on every internationally release game here! Of course, it's all my opinions, so don't take any of this as fact. But with that in mind, why don't we check out what I said?

I love pvz heroes since it has the most replay value cuz of how many cards there are snd everyone can build different decks so options are endless just look at Fry em up

I like how simple and straight forward you are with the reasoning behind why you enjoy some games over others. Not over the top, yet not undercooked. To top it all off, BFN would be my top pick as well cause it too is my taste of game. In terms of my own ranking, I’d keep all the same but swap PvZ 1’s and GW2’s places. Sometimes simplicity is all you need instead of overbloating with variants.

GW2 just isn’t for me, and PvZ2 I find to be more casual and fun, even if there are lots of microtransactions and premium plants you can skip over. But also PvZ1 is something I can just reliably pull up on my phone at any time and just have some relaxed gameplay.

Even objectively speaking, all pvz games have their problems, but they are still very enjoyable at their core. Well, not so much modern pvz2, but old pvz2 was extremely hype and pvz2 mods exists and those are just as hype, if not, even more hype. Pvz3 fails in a lot of ways on top of being garbage at its very core. It is BARELY better than pvz match. Emphasis on BARELY.

i honestly dont understand why they hated bfn, probably cause of the varients not being available. ive only played once and i had a blast, wont be as high as the others though since gw2 and gw were my childhood (gw would be lower). but yeah i see what you mean about all these games, great video man 👍

I'm definitely going to have to agree with you on PvZ1. After awhile, it gets boring, even endless gets boring, and the amount of people that praise it as this perfect game ohhh "ea bad popcap good" thing, it really isn't.

BFN is also my favorite game, 4.5k were wonderful with BFN. In fact, I'm a big proponent of Imp being a solid A tier (300 hours with imp only).

Imp is very solid if you use your double jumps and time your gravity grenades. He tests people’s aim, and pretty much AI bots become your only true weakness.

@@gametrieuk I don’t use those upgrades, cause you really can’t rely on one ability to do all the heavy lifting. I use Arm Day, Boosters, and Supermassive

@@the_patch_notes Boosters don't help much, I feel like sometimes they get in the way, to be honest I like Centripedal Force and Vampiric because they guarantee good sustenance. I also like Impkata's 2 upgrades to eliminate priority targets, that is, when there is a good Peashooter or Citron player, these 2 upgrades so that I can win these difficult confrontations and keep fighting the easier players. Then I have a build focused on cooldown with Critical Blow and Mech Hunter. The goal is basically to stay longer as a Z-mech so I can deal big damage.

@@gametrieuk that’s fair, I think the reason for my loadout is that I am less dependent on abilities, since I won’t always have access to them when they are on cooldown. Unless it’s something that can be spammed with upgrades like Shadow Sneak or Jinx or Sap Trap, I tend to lean on upgrades that make my normal combat experience better.

finally, a BFN supporter, from all the PvZ shooters, BFN has to be my favorite, mainly as i am someone who wasted years on TF2, so it was right up my alley compared to GW 1 and 2, for me, both GWs are TFC, while BFN is TF2, as both TF2 and BFN had tons of hate when it released from previous fans, but overtime it became loved, even when the devs had abandoned its issues for years

I honestly found GW2 a lot less fun to play online than GW1. My favorite mode in the first one was Gardens and Graveyards, and I feel the maps for that mode just weren't as fun in the sequel. The new characters also didn't click with me (aside from Corn and Pirate, but those were just the Foot Soldier and Cactus for the other team) and just felt pretty annoying to fight. The game was also way grindier than GW1 since the packs cost more and there was the whole leveling up system to get any upgrades for the characters. Now in singleplayer content, GW2 is much better obviously. Being able to play splitscreen in the hubworld on console was a lot of fun, and I spent more time doing that than actually playing the multiplayer. Of course that's just my view on the games; I'm not trying to argue against yours (Always good to clarify that on the internet just in case).

ok let me cook (not counting gw1, pvz 3, pvz adventure and pvz match because they're the only ones i havent played) ALL MY OPINION 5. PVZ 2: Ok this is probably the most controversial choice but if we're not counting mods then PVZ 2 is not fun. It has some atrocious level design, most of the new zombies are just badly designed, and the motherheckin microtransactions. I did not have fun playing PVZ 2 4. PVZ Heroes: Heroes is pretty good and a giant leap compared to PVZ 2 for actual fun value. Is it unbalanced? It's PopCap of course it's unbalanced. But its a fun casual game to play. 3. PVZ: PVZ is the classic and still holds up. After you 100% the game though there isn't much to do. PVZ 2 has constant updates Heroes has online and the shooters have multiplayer but PVZ doesn't have much after you get the golden Sunflower trophy. But I still think this is the second best tower defense game ever behind the funny monke balloon game. 2. BFN: Okay I will defend this game until I die. I like BFN because its just dumb fun. Unbalanced? Sure. Buggy? Yeah. Objectively badly designed? Hell yeah but BFN is just so damn fun. PVZ and BFN could probably be interchanged with each other but what can't be interchanged with PVZ is.. 1. GW2: Probably my second favorite game of all time. There honestly isn't a character I dislike (except Rose) the variants are all fun (except Rose) all the game modes are really fun (except rose) and has gnomes (except Rose) GW2 is just perfect. 0. Plants vs. Zombies Watch Face!!!!: ABSOLUTE PEAK GAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what? Placing pvz1 low is fair, if you play the game like twice it just gets really boring and the fast paced nature of the sequel is definitely more fun, and I think the main reason people really like pvz1 is because of nostalgia. Pvz1 isn't that good of a game, it's just nostalgic and has a boat load of extra content, other than that most plants are mediocre and the pacing is really slow and most zombies are unique but a pain in the ass too
