My Razer Blade Stealth 2016 i7, Tear down and thoughts on this in 2019 [Fixed Audio]

What a coincidence I just tore down my 2016 stealth to retape the heatsink replace the battery and reposted the cpu yesterday and was scouring the web for teardown videos

Did basically the same and also replaced the battery yesterday too, Looks at roughly 5 hours on battery life now, i purchased a KingSener battery from ali express, time will tell how it goes

@@rickstechrepairs got mine from neat for 45 bucks came at 97 percent original capacity. Ironically the same time I decided to make my razer usable again I also decided to get a new laptop. So I'm playing breath of the wild on a mag-15 now and probably wont touch my stealth again unless to RIP out its 500 gbs of storage

@@Huddy52 haha its pretty much like that. The 7500U processor is so underpowered when paired with a 1070 in the razer core, so im going to be selling the Stealth. And get something with a i7 6700 or higher in it

You did not remove the fans

What kind of tape did you use on the heatsink tape?

From where did you get the spare battery ? I too need one for my stealth 2016 V1.

i got it from aliexpress, i sold the machine but the battery life of it dropped by about 1/4 of its original life after like 4-6 cycles
