Also, everyone already knows who the killer is so where is the suspense and drama. Wow what a stupid idea 🤦‍♂️ The movie should have been a continuation of Siddharth taking care of the kid but finding new love and moving past Shradda Kapoor’s death. They can then put a twist in where a serial killer/psycho inspired by Ritesh Deshmukh’s killings surfaces and seeks revenge on Siddharth Malhotra. Something along these lines can be good for the film but your idea is very poor if I’m being honest.

Your prequel idea will mainly focus on the CBI inspector trying to solve the murders that the audience already knows who killed them(Ritesh Deshmukh). So where is the suspense and drama for the audience? I don’t think you put much thought into your prequel idea because most suspense thriller murder films don’t have a prequel because it doesn’t work. Also, focusing on a side character who is the inspector will be a disaster in the cinemas because no one will go watch a movie with an unknown actor as the main hero.
