There is room for everyone in country music so of course "we'll have ya". To me the power of country music resides in its lyrics and subject matter. It doesn't matter where you are from the songs are relatable. Neon Moon for example, who cannot relate to a broken heart and hoping the lost love will come back whether its under some bar sign or a clear sky. If you want simplicity in a song you should listen to George Jones specifically "He stopped Loving her today". Someone once said if God sang he'd sound like George Jones.
@14gears554 жыл бұрын

Hell yeah we’ll have you! I wasn’t always a Country Boy. I didn’t like nor listen to much Country growing up but sometimes it’s all about timing. I found Country when the time was right for me. I’m 47 now and got into country in 1993 when I was 21. I was driving and was just in the frame of mind to get lost in a song and the right one came on (All These Years by Sawyer Brown) and it stayed in my ears, my mind, and in my heart for days afterward until I had to buy the CD. That’s how it started for me. I love how country songs paint vivid pictures and that each one is its own story. Country tells it like it is and if there’s any emotion that you’re dealing with, this genre will bottle those feelings up and make music that will hopefully help you. I still listen to Metallica, Phil Collins, The Platters, The Commodores, Skid Row, Josh Groban, Luis Miguel, Lara Fabian, etc., but I find as I get older that my comfort zone rests in Country with its relatable stories.

Loads of awesome female country music stars out there too. Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Whynette (for more classic country (and some kick-ass songs too) like Loretta's "You Ain't Woman Enough, to Take My Man" or ""Fist City". Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill (80s-90s and some newer), and loads more. Kinda seems she is only reviewing male country artists, so far.

Keith Whitley Don't Close Your Eyes, Vern Gosdin set em up Joe play Walking the Floor and chiseled in stone brings tears to my eyes no matter how I listen to it. Earl Thomas Conley HonorBound, holding her and loving you two great songs and they do what he did with Keith Whitley brotherly love great song. Anything George Jones sings. Alabama's Mountain Music, if you're going to play in Texas gotta have a fiddle in the band, there's no way, I'm in a hurry I could name almost 20 to 30 Alabama songs.

Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks have been in the business for many years, they are very good at their jobs. Trust me they are performers deluxe. Plus they can write good music. Hope you enjoy. We are so happy that you are discovering country and western music. This style of music is American. Kind of like the blues. We are happy to have you...
