The song was composed by Igor Krutoy and lyrics by Igor Nikolai. It is a story of a man who has an encounter with a woman that he met on the beach and he misses her and wants to find her and doesn't know how. He goes back to the beach hoping to find her. Dimash sings it with passion, but he dedicated it to his Dears because he misses them and has missed performing live for them. Thank you for your reaction.

Yes the song is about an encounter with a girl on a beach, but it has nothing to do with Dimash personally except for his interpretation. The music was composed by Igor Krutoy. The lyrics were written by a popular Russian poet (another Igor). Krutoy produced a demo (singing the song himself) and submitted it to Dimash the way composers usually submit songs to performers. Sorry to burst my fellow Dears romantic bubble, but production of the demo was actually shown online by Igor Krutoy a month or so ago.

Dear Gitana, the video thumbnail that says lyrics Dimash I Miss You and that says below that Ruxanda Translations has the correct subtitles. The thing about it is that the idea is he is talking to a woman that he has been with intimately but he doesn't say a name so it could actually apply to anybody. And the song that is dedicated to one of his teachers who died from the virus in July who also composed the song is Qaragym-ai. For that song it has to be the one that says one month ago because Dimash recorded it after he died in July from the Virus. BE SURE TO HAVE TISSUES READY!! 🎶👱‍♀️👗👠👠💓

I don’t think Dimash was as involved with the actual writing of the song as much as some people assume. This is no different than Ogni Pietra where Igor Krutoy wrote the music and had the lyrics written and basically presented the song as a finished product to Dimash. I am sure Dimash collaborated on the final arrangement of the song musically but even though It was written for Dimash to sing, I don’t think Dimash was involved with the initial writing process . As for this song Igor Krutoy collaborated with a lyricist he had worked before and I think the theme of the lyrics were just the lyricist’s own imagination. The lyricist who is also named Igor (Igor Nikolaev) wrote on his Instagram that Igor Krutoy just told him that the song will be for Dimash and gave him the composition and the rest just came to him so I don’t think Dimash himself had anything to do with the context of the lyrics. Dimash was probably presented with this song after the first draft probably was already done.

I believe Igor Krutoy wrote the music and he collaborated with Igor Nikolaev to come up with the Lyrics. Dimash probably did dedicate the song for his "Dears" but it is not about them. Even though I really like Dimash's music, and think he is the best male singer in the World, at 61 years old I dont want to be called a "Dear". BTw I think the Subtitles you displayed were way off.

My dear girl, you may have heard many rumours as to whom is the song dedicated. Allow me to say this: if you have seen the painting of Mona Lisa, you should know by now that the more one stares at the painting, the more the facial expression changes from sadness to smile to sarcasm etc. Leonardo Da Vinci used a painting technique that he applied to the corners of her mouth. Therefore the painting remains an enigma and subject to interpretation. Dimash apparently misses his followers (dears) but the clip incorporates a projected scene in the corner background of a girl walking on a beach. That kind of production leaves the intention of "I miss you" mysterious. Very cleverly produced. I prefer to interpret it as a dedication to his followers. Stay safe.

Dimash did dedicate the song to his Dears, but he didn't write it. Igor Krutoy wrote the song, so it's the subject he chose. Hi Gitana, as some others have said, this is not a personal song for Dimash, Igor Krutoy composed the music and asked a colleague of his Igor Nikolayev to write lyrics. Dimash dedicated I to his dears because he has missed them during pandemic. Sorry no romantic story (at least not that we know of!) ❤️🇬🇧 Dimash online concert is 16 January 2021 (but can be watched anytime for 7 days) tickets are currently $10 increasing to $15 soon.
