My reaction to “How immigration Officers treat tourists in Nigeria”

I react to a viral video of a Nigerian immigration officer asking for money at Lagos Airport.

We need to stamp out this bullshit! I have been to 110 nations in 14 years and have experienced corruption not only the African nations of Senegal, South Africa and Guinea Bissau. But also by White Kazakh border guards on the frontier with Kyrgyzstan.
Yes, Western Tourists do pay higher prices in the 3rd world. But we shouldn't have to pay money to enter a country that is visa free.
The immigration officer Okpravero Ufuoma, had the book throw at him. According to the Nigerian press "“This disgraceful act is not a representation of our commitment to hospitality, reception, and courtesy."
Mr. Ufuoma is nothing more but an imbercel. If he tried travelling on a Nigerian passport within his own continent, he would probably face the same dilemmas that I have.
