Julie - being an "American" is not about where you're from, where you're at, or where you're going for that matter. It's about what you believe, and I don't mean religiously. If you believe that ALL people, EVERYWHERE, should be able to do whatever the hell they want to do (as long as it doesn't get in the way of others doing the same), then you my dear are an American. Welcome home! As for living unimpeded, the same pretty much goes for East Tennessee, we're gonna do what we're gonna do if they like it or not. She's a young singer (now 16) from Norway, has been covering a wide variety of classic songs (especially jazz) since she won Norway's Got Talent in 2014 - at the age of 8, & (IMHO) is the best female singer definitely in my lifetime. She has over 150 covers & originals on KZbin. I hate everyone using the F word, everywhere you look they think it's appropriate and don't care weather it's in front of children or not, but in this song he used it so appropriately that I can't find fault. Amazing! I haven't heard a good rock song in so many years. Although we do have some great rappers, we don't seem to have any good rock music at all anymore. Nobody does great music like Meatloaf, Twisted Sister or Alice Cooper anymore. 😥 I remember a lot of us screaming out "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" in the school cafeteria. Do you know that our school band us from playing Twisted Sister or Alice Cooper in the school? Even back in the '70s many teachers were feminazis.

What?! No twisted sister?! Thankfully, our school was pretty open about music. We had great school dances with Metallica, Ozzy, Led Zeppelin etc.

@@MrsRealistic I went to Scott Park High School in Hamilton. It was an extremely divided school. We have the feminazis on one side and the jocks on the other. I was one of the jocks. I played high School football as a fullback. Which is really strange considering my height, but growing up with five brothers and a father who was a wrestler, I was extremely tough. I wasn't anything special, but I can knock people over. It was pretty useful because my usefulness to the team kept those feminazi teachers off my butt. However the worst thing was that they believed that rock music was completely sexist against women so it was never allowed in the school. You should have seen how freaked out they were when our prom was a Queen (the band) theme. Of course we ended it with "School's Out" by Alice Cooper.

Min wage has to be one the list of the top 10 worst policies signed into law what past 100, maybe 150 years. I’m speaking per Congress/President not state/local

As for the minimum wage going up. as inflation erases the gain in real wages ,the raise to 15.00 puts many people in a higher tax bracket. Some people may also lose access to other supports as well.

The part you liked about BLM, Kid Rock raised his half-black son on his own and that was his grand daughter with him,
@MrsRealistic2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I've since learned that. He got custody of his son early on, and his son is now happily married with a beautiful little girl. Seems like Kid Rock did something right!

He definitely broke it down to layman's terms. Very entertaining song and I'm sure as you stated the vast majority of Americans feel that way.

Ok - just watched your great reaction for a 2nd time (sorry I can only subscribe once :) It reminded me that the 4th of July is just around the corner. If you haven't yet reacted to any of these (my favorite) patriotic songs, please consider reacting to any of them: This Place Called USA - Creed Fisher, GOD Bless The USA - Lee Greenwood in collaboration with Home Free & US soldiers, The Star Spangled Banner - Madison Rising &/or Red, White & Blue (concert music video) - Lynyrd Skynyrd. I think you would enjoy all of them. Thanks for your consideration.
