autotune wasn’t invented back then so that was his real voice

His longtime recording engineer Bruce Swedien said that he never used pitch correction or other artificial stuff when recording Michael. They both worked so good together bc they had the same vision when in studio, to preserve vocal authenticity. He even said that even a chimp could record MJ, because he was such a pro.

That wasn’t a Hidden Gem, it was a Smash Hit when it came out! The album came out in 1979, Off The Wall, the single, came out in Spring of 1980, I was in the 4th grade, we would sing it in class, along with our Teacher!

Because he is one of the greatest vocalists; though he is also inducted in the Vocal Hall of fame. His vocal technique inspired even some of his contemporaries and so so many after him.

MJ had one of the most beautiful voices. His vocal range was amazing. Please react to his other acapella recordings, such as Rock With You and on his other albums. Also, please more live MJ.

Whew. Yes thanks for covering this. Off the Wall was so underrated. I was 7 when this came out. I literally grew up with this album. It was so different growing up then because I was actually witnessessing the Jackson's as they were making music. So when Michael went solo back then it was a big deal. Then you see him on the cover of the Jet every week. ❤❤❤

Michael's the King of Music! Enjoyed your reaction, whenever you have a free moment, please check out MJ's layered vocals on Off The Wall, Mind Blowing! Can you react to "Goin Back To Indiana" Live 1971 concert, they perform "Stand", Alright" & "Walk On" I believe. You'll love it! Michael Is INCOMPARABLE! 🤎👑⭐✨💫✨

❤❤❤ Chest, I am in Love with *YOU ALMOST as Much as I am with MICHAEL.😂😂I am probably the WorLd's Youngest & BIGGEST Whitney Houston and *MICHAEL JACKSON Fan. And Watching you Critique and REACT to their music Often LITERALLY Brings me to Tears. It is OBVIOUS that their SouLfuL SOARING VocaLs & the Raw Emotions they are Literally UNMATCHED in POP Music HISTORY. I Can Tell that you are Touched & DeepLy MOVED By their VocaL DeLivery *AS AM I.😭And The Fact that BOTH These Legendary Icons are No Longer WITH Us makes the Experience THAT much MORE SurreaL. Especially when you Considered the Way they SUFFERED On this Earth at the hands of jealous Haters. I ALSO Love Luther Vandross and BEYONCÉ.😋 The AD-LIBS MichaeL Did at the END of this Acapella Version of "Off the Wall" Sends Chills up one's Spine. Particularly when you Consider that MichaeL Did ALL those Background VocaLs & Harmonies HimSELF. Chest, I would LOVE to see you react to MJ's duet with his brother JERMAINE on "Tell me I'm not Dreaming",and his 1984 duet Smash "Somebody's Watching Me" with ROCKWELL.* ..and ALSO from his 2011 posthumous album *MICHAEL*, a beautiful track called ♥️"MUCH TOO SOON" (Not to be Confused with "Gone Too Soon" from his DANGEROUS album). FINALLY Chase, ONE DAY I would Absolutely DIE if I Saw you REACT to✨Luther Vandross' *SUPERSTAR(Don't you Remember)*- Full ALBUM Version,✨Beyoncé's *HALO*😇, or MaxweLL's *THIS WOMAN'S WORK* from his 2001album "Now".👀🤔 And if you made those Reactions wearing ONLY a Wife-Beater or (God-Forbid)😱 "SHIRTLESS" They'd have to Carry me outta here on a Stretcher!😋♥️Love Always your GirL *AMANDA*😺🌺🙏*

Taking advantage of this video, I recommend that you continue to react to MJ's acapella vocals. If MJ's state was intelligent, he would have released an album of only acapella vocals of the most iconic songs.
@moongod71582 ай бұрын
Stan twiiter is where I read the most from haters that this man wasn't a vocalist or lost it by 30. 🤣 Like 30? Have they not heard Earth Song? He was still in his 30’s when that beautiful song was released. Like how about Butterflies in his 40’s? Amazing vocals too. Yes, his voice deepened and sometimes got a lil raspy (which worked for songs like Smooth Criminal, etc.) but that's human nature, and whether you’re a singer or not vocal cords go through change the older you get. Especially the more you use it because, at the end of the day, vocal chords are a muscle. Lastly, not every singer needs to belt to be a great singer, and do runs. Yet MJ did that too once. A true great vocalist is someone who can adapt to change and no one did that better than MJ who was once a child prodigy and became a solo adult megastar in one lifetime.
