@@Hanrahan46 Max distance is terrible when you don't have an open field around you. It kinda decreases visibility by making the camera zoom in and out like crazy. Same for caves (also known dc bugs due to max distance in caves). In open field I'd agree though

In normal wow I prefer zoomed in, its more "immersive" and I just have more fun, also if I die who cares. But if I'm raiding or playing hardcore you gotta play more optimal

the Mitch clip starts SUPER late. That fight began with them clearing trash toward Ramtusk, and Mitch went quasi-afk pulling another window over the top of the game, allowing the mob he was fighting to live and run away into the Boss pack as well as another. Essentially Mitch had accidentally (and without noticing since he wasn't paying attention) pulled multiple packs including the boss before the pally even got close to doing that ass pull.

I saw some additional context from before the start of this clip somewhere else, and Mitch was constantly afking throughout the dungeon. About a minute before this clip starts, he pulls a couple of mobs for the tank to pick up and starts aoeing them down, but then afks to watch a twitch clip and because he was afk, a runner picked up the boss, leading to this situation where healer had no mana and started freaking out. Healer is still either a noob or griefer and definitely kind of a dick, but mitch has some fault here too that wasn't shown. All around cursed run, don't really blame him for ditching but at the same time he was part of the problem tbh.

Nah Xaryu was being too nice here. Mitch COULD have stayed but fuck that noise. That paladin went out of his way to pull 2 extra mobs while being toxic in party chat. I wouldn't wanna continue the run either. Everyone else should have made the conscious decision to hearth as well. Mitch played it right IMO and that paladin was a griefer, straight up.

I think those of us who watched the Mitch Jones RFK dungeon live have a different take on how that played out. Mitch was ninja pulling, the tank repeadly pulling mobs, not letting the pala get mana. That paldin had a loud mouth, but given the group he joined, that was understandable. Mitch was afk half the time in the short while they were in there, he was doing jack shit. One could argue the paladin accidently pulls, because he was spending time telling the druid to kite and stop pulling, not realising the patrol was behind him. If tank was aware of his healers mana, then the pala would not have had to type out all that shit. The rogue was doing jackshit aswell, it was RFK vs Druid & Paladin. And the cherry on top was Mitch dipping on his group after having been afk the whole time (almost), with 20% mana + mana gem, and only 2 mobs left. They would have had that without any problems. With all of this being said, the paladin should probably just stand behind his group and not infront of them. The paladin is also a perfect class to just right click a mob and start auto attacking with a 2 hander, inbetween heals. He did neither of those two. That whole group was a joke.

You don't need fps to get up there. Pixeljumps always worked and just require you to aim towards a specific degree. And yes you get banned for that. Happend to me and my friends back in 2004/2005.

Personally in a situation where you are about to even come close to losing a character, you should always take a step back and reset, if I was Mitch there is only a certain amount of fuck ups you can tolerate before it’s no longer worth risking it. If Mitch stayed and fought I’d say it was about a 70-80% chance they kill it all but having at best a 10% chance to just die when you have a clear escape out is more than understandable.
