AGT gave him this rather obscure song for his qualifying song and he was reluctant to do it. He did get criticized for picking something so unknown but he turned it into a soaring hymn. He still got eliminated from AGT but Jacob Banks, who wrote this, gave the song to Gabriel. This is his to sing, like this, forever....ironic that it turned out that way! He stands out even with a full orchestra!!🤗
