Beautiful reaction Carl to a beautiful, beautiful song by Amira. This really tugs at your heart. She was 14 when she recorded this on her second album. And the terrific singer who sang with her, as her father, was Ruhan du Toit. He sang with Amira again when she was 19 in their sensational "Phantom of the Opera".

This is beautiful. I love it. Ray Vandenberg has taken quite a few Amira songs and enhanced them with appropriate images. All the clips are taken from videos on YT featuring Amira. Her mother said in one interview that as a baby, Amira would sit in a basket at her father's feet while he played the church organ. This video opens with the two of them entertaining people in the park on Queen's day 2011, Amira was 7, and sang O mio babinno caro to raise money for sweets. Gerrit played for her on the accordian. They have always been a very close and supportive family, and contributed greatly to Amira's success.

She became an institution and all of her oiginal songs contain deep and hopeful lyrics , like IN THE STARS , tribute to her grandmother that passed away , or I WILL BE WITH YOU , WITH ALL MY HEART , DRIFT AWAY and this FOLLOW YOUR HEART . And there is someone who dresses these songs of Amira with beautiful stories and images . His name is Ray Vandenbourg . Other detail : who makes duet with with Amira is Ruhan Du Toit , South Afrikaan singer who also accompanied Amira in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and one magnificent version of BARCELONA ( studio version )

This is beautiful. Amira’s father also sings very well. This shows a wonderful relationship between father and daughter. I have had to be both grandpa and daddy to my seventeen year old granddaughter , we have a loving relationship like this. That why this song digs at my heart.
