Aretha sounds like every woman who can sing at my church . There is something Big Mamma like about her voice that don't work for me in love songs. Her voice is more anthemic than angelic like Whitney and a few others to me.

You don’t understand when this song hit the airwaves, she stopped everyone from global Presidents to metal head biker gangs cold in their tracks with her voice . People were floored, literally. Even singers twice her age who had been in the music industy for years were floored and some were even were jealous, Diana . In her debut era Barber Streisand asked her how does she do that. During that time in music, it was like finding the most unusual rare diamond of a singer. She was so refreshing to the music scene. Then you see her and she’s just as beautiful as her voice. Labels wanted a Whitney on their label.

She had the perfect voice and range. For me, it's how feminine she sounds. It's hard for me to describe, but there is something super feminine about her voice. It's like innocent, adult, sensual, and girly about it all at the same time. It's hard to put into words. Lol, anyways, more Whitney, please!

They’re really not, great songs but she showed out here and this still wasnt her best vocals because obviously her lives are top tier but she showcased better vocals here than those two songs and this has better songwriting
