im so glad to see real mua’s appreciating kbeauty because a lot of people don’t apply korean products correctly or think they’re gimmicky due to the cute packaging. also i agree with everyone saying that kbeauty should expand their shade range, but also understand that korean brands are targeting korean people, who are either naturally light or are striving to look lighter because of asian beauty standards. wanting to look lighter in korean standards is like how westerners typically want a sun kissed tan glow
@niahelmee68905 жыл бұрын
I'm not a fan of korean makeup specifically, not entirely because of the limited shade range but rather because korean makeup are made for korean's skin tone and face structure. My skin tone and face structure are obviously aren't close to korean's. that's why i prefer western makeup better. besides, korean makeup made in ways that are way different than western makeup. in terms of eyeshadow pigment and range/variety, mascara, brow shades, blush shades and lipstick colours. a lot of these makeup products, i prefer western one better. tho, I'm kinda interested in buying their cushion and powder one day. i couldn't afford to buy one sooner just because korean makeup tend to be pricier than drugstore western makeup. disclaimer: I'm not hating. I'm just stating other possible reasons why some people don't use kbeauty as much.
@peachramunes5 жыл бұрын
@@niahelmee6890 not just Koreans. A lot of other Asian countries use K-beauty products since most K-beauty and J-beauty products target the paler Asian market. It's perfect for our skintone.
@niahelmee68905 жыл бұрын
@@peachramunes I'm also asian if you must know. but i don't have the face structure of koreans, chinese, japanese and other races with similar face structure and skintone to be able to use and love korean makeup. some people like me just can't use korean makeup. and people can't blame us for not loving korean makeup as we should. because it doesn't suit us. local brands in my country also tends to cater foundation shades for only those with fair-light skin tone when my country consists of variety races: malay, chinese, indians, and more. which is very dissapointing. because of asians beauty standard.

korean make up are definitely underrated in the west. i think western ppl are used to cake their face up while korean make up is soft and natural. much like skincare. korean and jpn skincare are gentle
@niahelmee68905 жыл бұрын
some makeup products made are very different between korean and western makeup which are made according to their target market. Koreans have and loves having very pale skin and their eye lids are smaller. While western have variety of skin colour from people having too fair/pale skintone to those who have too dark skintone. And variety eye shapes. which is why not a lot of people are able to use and love korean makeup. the reasons are not entirely because of korean makeup's limited shade range. but rather some people just prefer makeup products released by western brands and it suits their skin tone & face structure very well. While korean makeup are made to suit korean's skin tone and face structure which also suitable for chinese and Japanese. must i remind you that koreans tend to have flawless skin which is why they use light coverage base. they don't need a lot because they have almost nothing to cover. while people in most other countries have redness and blemishes they wanted to cover. and korean skincare are very much well known internationally.

I’m so glad I came across him! I’ve been saying so many “Beauty Guru” tricks and tips don’t work. And I’ve been binging his videos and so glad it’s not just me 😂

I’m older so I love how you do your makeup. Simple yet beautiful. This is how I want to do my makeup, because I’m older & you just cant put a whole lot of makeup on your face. Such a breath of fresh air. Great info. Now I know exactly how to achieve this look. Ty so much. BTW your gorgeous and I don’t think you need any makeup!!!! But I’m glad you do makeup, because how would we know to apply makeup. Your the best!!!

How ridiculous - ‘I look awful!’ You would never EVER look awful. Stunning with or without make-up.

Bob Ballard I think many people have that mindset Cos they are soo used to their makeup face even tho their surroundings doesn’t notice ... I had bad day no makeup and greasy hair and one of my friends was like what u aren’t wearing anything on your face I didn’t even notice ... and me I personally see myself as I have these huge under eyes circles and I hate them
