I got a funny story with my Ecto-glow figures; My dad and I were in a vintage toy store to kill time before we had to go to a Cure concert that night, this store was having a relocation sale and the owners had no idea what the value was for the Ecto-Glow figures (they had no accessories but were very mint). So I bought Ecto-Glow Peter and Ray for only $16!!! What a steal of a deal!! P.S. I know it’s gonna be a bitch trying to find those specific accessories let alone the rest of the figures. I just hope I when I do find them, I get them cheap.

Here's an idea that just popped into my head. Customizing an Ecto -1 to glow in the dark to match the figures. You could even use an older one off ebay that already needs a few repairs

Amazing! I have them loose from when I was a kid. Got them from a KayBee Toy Store back then. I’d love to have them MOC just to have another run of them. Money spent, but, they’re a great addition to any solid toy collection. I also wanted to add from your comment I love the proton streams. The way they wrap around the ghost. Just like the 1988 S&RGB episodes!

I had everyone when I grew up, always kept masks, packs and ghosts. My dog chewed off Winston's hand though. I got rid of them at one point... Had no idea they were so rare. Really kicking myself now.

I bought all 5 carded in 2003 for $100 total. One of the better deals in my life. Also, Hell yeah I opened them. I had to use the masks and my custom painted uniforms to make the ghost ghostbusters.

I've got these figures as well, Jason. I have my loose but with all of the gear that came with them. I wish I could get another set of 5 mint on card. My goal is to get the First Series Real Ghostbusters action figures, the original blue cards. I have two second issue of the Real Ghostbusters on card, which are Egon Spengler and Peter Venkman, those are my pride and joy. Although I need some of the Slime Heroes, Screaming Heroes, plus Ray and Janine from the Fright Features series.

I have nearly the entire Ghostbusters line kenner and Admittedly been thinking about selling them. I'm missing the wings for about by plane but other than that I've got nearly the entire line other than these loan the dark ones I've even got the street sweeper. I can't remember if I have the new blade for the ecto 2 as well. Might be missing one of them.i picked up the Jenin and that guy in glasses a couple of years back about nine years ago and they were the last thing that I got from the original line so I'm not sure if they're in with the other Ghostbusters or not. I boxed everything off when we moved in 98 and I've never unpacked most of it. Since 98 I've been dealing with a lot of family crap without getting into a big production so most of my stuff never got unpacked. I think what I've got is worth around 1500 selling it as one group but i don't think anybody would even pay 500.i but a few Ghostbusters items up for sale that I had extra of and haven't been able to get about a quarter of what it actually worth.i have 2 in package Ghostbusters squirt balls,a Ghostbusters extreme slimeer in package and airsickness inbox although technically the box is heavily damaged due to an incident at the store it was sold from. I picked up a lot of what would've been considered image items back in the 90s that had been in the storeroom of a zellers That got damaged during a hurricane. It was kind of trippy to be shopping in the store where areas of the store you could go in whole sections of the roof were missing with water pouring through and so on they ran the story that way for about three week to try and sell off all the merchandise. Picked up a lot of stuff that the time for like $.50 and a dollar as an example I got nearly the entire reboot line and quite a few 1980s toys that had been forgotten about in a back storeroom.

I would be down with that. I just hope that if Hasbro does reissue more of the Kenner Real Ghostbusters line, fans will have an easier time finding them in stores. Due to issues with Wal Mart, I ended up buying all of my Kenner Classics action figures online and from the horror stories I heard about Wal Mart not packing the toys properly, it sounds like I made the right choice.

I hear you loud and clear on that. I just need Ray Stantz mint on card from the Slimed Heroes series and I will all of the Slimed Heroes action figures. I also would like to get an Ecto Glow Peter Venkman mint on card to finish out my Real Ghostbusters collection. I already have the reissued Wal Mart action figures and a majority of the vintage Kenner line loose as well. Update: Got my Ecto Glow Peter Venkman mint on card today, I saw one with a buy it now button and I went for it. I am glad that I did since I never owned any of the Ecto Glow Heroes during my childhood. Heck, until I started using the Internet to look up Ghostbusters realted stuff in the late 1990's I thought the Kenner toy line stopped with the Slimed Heroes series.
