Thanks Lee. I always love the kids coming out with me. This place was promising but I couldn’t access much of it. The grass was long and so many thorns and spiky weeds. But it’s on the ‘return to’ list. Hope you’ve been great!! 👍 Happy new year too!! 😃

Yep! The 46+47 florins are definitely the most common find in that coins mintage, probably something like 10 to 1... I still like to find them, but like you I'm still trying to fill my coin book. Which I started 50+ years ago, metal detecting certainly ramped up the collection, but there still a lot of pockets to fill. And coins Ive yet to set in place. Unfortunately nearly all my finds are packed away in dated, little and medium sized plastic bags, in cardboard boxes, waiting for the day I can unpack them again. I miss sticky noseing through them. Glad to see the pre Dec's come out, it's always a relief when one finally pops out. And a belated Happy new year to you too! Cheers Camille!

Yep. All 3 of my kids like detecting. Just don’t have the stamina to go for hours and hours. But that’s totally ok. 👍 Cheers and happy hunting 😊

That was a great hunt Camille with some nice pre decimals coming out. Eventually the good stuff comes to light,hopefully before your arms get worn out.Those long grass roots take some effort to get through sometimes.Cheers.

Hi Camille, nice hunt, I don’t think it hurts to show how much junk you have dug, some people think metal detecting is all about finding treasure and they don’t realise how much junk you dig to find those treasures.

Great video, 1964 was the last silver here.If you find a nickel, you can almost bet it's 1964.They must have made a ton of them.
