I had to mentally prepare myself to watch this. Palms were sweaty. Knees weak. My arms were heavy. It’s only Christmas morning but there was vomit on my Christmas sweater. Mums Christmas Spaghetti. A little mediation before hand to calm my farm. Didn’t work. A sneaky little squeal got out. So stoked for you. I’m not stoked for Kurt. He is going to land a VH tonne of fabricating.

For your safety and your paint job's safety, can I recommend beefing that front dolly up, or at least finishing some of the welds? I can just see it going bad for you.

It's been OK for the last 2 years, it will last until I get the K-Frame and Front struts powder coated. I'm not planning on working on the car with the dolly in place, first job will be to put it back on 4 wheels.

Only advice I can offer.. having pretty much finished a VH myself.. do the hardest to access parts first. If you follow that rule you’ll be light years ahead. You’ll know when you forget that rule and kick yourself every time you remove something you’ve already fitted. Oh and wax n grease remover by the 10ltr bottle from the green shed, with q-tips and various assortments of soft/hard rags will be your best friend. Oh and autoglym plastic gel/reviver. And the rest of their products!

Nothing wrong with White mate, they stand out when you put a set of wheels on them, I had a White VK I put a set of centerline auto drags on it it looked wicked, I have a VE HDT G3 which its also white with color code HDT wheels every time I take it out someone comes up to me saying how good it looks and twice I've had folks take pictures of it, so nothing wrong with White cars bro

Thanks Kelvin, it will look fantastic with bumpers and trims on. All the NOS parts I acquired by trawling FB marketplace and putting up WTB ads in early commodore groups. These bits are still out there hanging on walls of sheds across the country! You just gotta figure out who's got em, and how much cash it'll take for them to separate with it. Failing that, you may need to cut one off a wreck.

Problem is, stock tank is 65L... if I wanna be able to travel further than the end of my street with that thirsty ethanol chugging monster, more capacity will be the order of magnitude. Potentially an 85L long range tank?... but ride height could be compromised? ...short answer - we'll see.
