Don't use Retinol amount as if you are using Moisturizer 😒, Retinol more than pea size is not at all recommended especially if you are a beginner, even though the concentrate is 0.1%, for beginners don't cross more than pea size amount and never apply in sensitive areas like Nasal area and mouth corners

Did you apply hydrating toner and essence before? Or did you try using it in sandwich method by applying moistizer, then tertinioin and then mositurizer again? Asking as I started retinol and it gave me purging. Then I moved to sandwitch method. It gave no irritation. Now I use all hydrating essence, toner and serum before and then apply retinol. It works great for my skin. I want to move to tertinioin next

Use good moisturizer. Me being an extremely sensitive skin faced lots of issues with my tertinioin journey but soon i figured it out. Skin care can be expensive and being extremely sensitive combination skin most of the things don't suit me. What I do is after washing my face I apply vasaline petrolium Jelly then a very hydrating moisturizer After that I apply my tertinioin and again apply moisturizer. This way you can avoid extreme dryness and purging won't Last for days.

@@ymahc9923 you can also use the pligrim's retinol serum with hyaluronic acid its a begginer friendly one you can also try the one from minimalist she's using the 1% one which tbh is a lot more concentration start with 0.3%

No! You're supposed to use retinol in your late 20s! You don't need that! 😢don't blindly follow these influencer's! Consult a dermatologist remember it's an acid! A 21 year old doesn't needs it and if you have damaged skin barrier dry flaky sensitive skin please don't use retinol...these influencers are just earning money by promoting these 🙂 don't believe everything on social media
