I ran these tires this weekend at my local clay track and when they were broken in just right, they were perfect for my B6 laydown.

couldn't agree more, they are my tire of choice right now. they hit a home run with this tire.
@StocktoModRC7 жыл бұрын
Good stuff. I agree that is a great tire. I am going from dirt webs to positrons and it has made a big change in traction. The car is more planted in all areas of the track.

Stock to Mod. RC yea i agree i think jconcepts rubber is just a lil harder.

These are the go to tire here in Denver at MHOR. I've tried AKA Chain links and as much as I'd love to run a tire at 1/2 the cost they just won't hook up there. I'll just keep buying positrons and wheels and going broke.
@fuzzfreak19676 жыл бұрын
Has anyone tried the new inversions yet? I was wondering how they were. My local clay track was so sticky that slicks were the way to go when it first opened. now that the track has had some drying time, the slicks are not working as good as they use to

i have been running 2.2 electrons m4 outdoors, great tire wheeling poping fwd bite v good side bite, do you think these positron in m4 would be better...? i run 2wd buggy at king....

Positrons are amazing at Speed rc. I run them on my b6d with some sticky kicks traction compound and its hooked!

I just bought a b6.1 yes I cant afford the newest, but what front tire would I use with these?
@rcvitals2 жыл бұрын
I used proline electron front tire MC compound. But check with what the local fast guys are running. I know exactly what you mean about not affording it. I'm 100% unsponsored. So I have 1 set of race tires and I have 1 set of super old practice tires.

these better than slicks??
@amcmurtrie54255 жыл бұрын
hey i did the same thing with the set i have. i will buy another set and just mount them for the right side
@rcvitals5 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Mcmurtrie. Hey andrew thank you for tunning in. Yep it bit me also and a couple of my buddies. But something about those tires thats soo good. Have you tried elispes by jconcepts yet? If so what did you think? I havnt tried them yet myself, but I heard they were pretty good also. But I love my positron. I'm not sponsored I pay full price but tjey are worth it.
@amcmurtrie54255 жыл бұрын
not yet. gotta match up my set of positrons first.... heard good things about the jconcepts tires. i only run indoor clay during the winter. mostly i run outdoors tracks

Love your channel and videos mate. Couple of questions. Are these the MC Clay compound Positrons? How you tried the Positron M4 compound with tire sauce at the same track? I'm going to start doing a few races at my local track which is a damp pure clay track and they all use M4 Prime slicks but i'm hoping that the Positrons will give me an edge over everyone else. Cheers Alan from Australia.
@rcvitals7 жыл бұрын
Alan Stons Hey alan sorry for late response. It will give you an edge. I run clay because our track is gripped up. But on a damp surface I would run either m4 or clay compound. Everyone runs slicks I still run positron. No I'm not sponsored by proline. Their tire really works for me at speed rc.
@rcvitals7 жыл бұрын
Alan Stons Thank you for tunning in. Trying to help the not sponsored and beginner to get faster.

No worries man. Yea alot of people at my track has made that mistake. Alot of people on here has made the same mistake. But this tire right now you cant beat it. Its one of the best tires out there. Thank you for tunning i really appreciate it. Jason Rc Vitals

I think proline has been around alot longer then any other tire an i did use other tire brandz but for me proline is home an i dont have a sponsorship from them it just seems other tire companies follow proline an i do 1/10 2wd 17.5 an run mod same car just to drive an 1/8 nitro&electric vehicles
@preyingmathis25176 жыл бұрын
How many race days can you get with those positrons?
@rcvitals6 жыл бұрын
Preying Mathis Positron and proline rubber is amazing tire. They get better as you run them. I've ran the same proline positron for 3 weeks straight. Like for me the slicker they got the better they got. I mean getting them slicker by burning laps on them. So i would say 3 weeks of racing. After that they become my practice tire. Or when the track is fresh layout. My worn out tires is the tire I run.

Y WOULD U WANT 2 GO FROM A 2.2. - TO A 2.4 TIRE
@rcvitals7 жыл бұрын
+JOHN Copple 2.4 would have less side to side roll and help the car rotate better. Hopfully with 2.4 will 2.4 stop traction rolling. Hey thank you john Also Thanks for tuning in.
@chasingwaves117 жыл бұрын
JOHN Copple traction roll lower your height or take away traction from your car easy fast way move your rear hubs back or chance your c block or take away camber .. .. or drive smarter ..
@chasingwaves117 жыл бұрын
rubber is the compound pink green, gold,blue,black that all goes into affect .. you should try some Aka tires they work pretty nice on clay . I'm more of a high bite track guy love running slicks .. but over then many years i good at setups for low traction places .. i dont use pro driver setup because most people dont drive the way they do .. my best advice go stock setup and tune it from there .... to setup a car right you need to understand how a rc car works .. with out that you just over thing shit .. so get out there spend a few days tunning and trying out setups .. note on what you did and how it preformed on the track .. best of luck Man .. sorry for talking so much
@Powerpickle687 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about putting 2.4 tires on 2.2 wheels will have more tire sidewall flex.If 2.2 tires on 2.4 wheels you will have far less. The tread pattern is the same for both.
@kylejeffries47777 жыл бұрын
I can show you how to fix the traction roll, but it will cost you.

i liked it, worked well at sdrc. just wish the foam insert would last longer. proline inserts seam to brake down before the tire wares out
