Hi 👋 Nk! Thank you, I am planning on doing another one soon with more updates, but I am moving soon so I'm hoping everything goes well so I can record in my new house :). Answering your question, no, Ravensbourne does not usually do internships BUT it doesn't mean your tutors won't be able to refer you to a company or during the degree show professionals come to see the student's works and they usually do recruit people and offer internships. I have a couple friends doing that course and they say its very fun! 😊 but you can always transfer courses if you happen to not like it. Let me know if you get in!!

thank you for this video!! i’m thinking of applying for the digital photography course at ravensbourne, i was wondering if you knew anything about others experience doing it? also the biggest issue for me right now is accommodation prices 😫 do you know anything about which accommodation is the cheapest? ive researched quite a bit but the cheapest i can find is like £200 a week LOL

Hi Phooebe! I actually have a couple friends doing digital photography and they are really enjoying it so far :) I'll speak to them more in depth tomorrow and see what their feedback is and I'll add it here. Regarding student accommodation I KNOW, it is sooo expensive. I am actually living with my parents but honestly I would probably just rent a room somewhere nearby which can be cheaper around 150/week? There is a website called spareroom.co.uk where you can see some rooms available. There are flats just for girls, or just for students etc, and they usually put some information about the people already living in the flats so you can see if they are similar to you. Trust me those £200 you save will actually matter a lot! I hope this helps and good luck with everything!!

Loved the video, I was wondering what is the film editing and post production course like? Like how are the employment opportunities after the course specially for an international student since the course is very expensive. So is it worth the price and time?

Omg thank you so much for your comment, Shreyansi!! I only did a foundation year, so I haven't done the course myself to be able to tell you. I know that post production is one of the most advertised courses at Rave and I know people who have liked it and people who haven't. It all depends on your use of the course if you're serious about your career and aren't going to be just playing around, you will definitely have loads of opportunities for your future and even get a work placement during your last year! But if you're playing around then these are less likely to happen. The ability to make contacts also plays a huge part so if you're really outgoing and are not afraid to speak to people that's a plus :) and it will help you a lot. It's worth remembering that an experience in London is very well seen anywhere in the world so even if you have to go back to your country after finishing the course, it is still going to be worth it. Not classes, I meant classmates :) I would love to know how many masters classes there are per week but I don't know, sorry. Yes there is always a way to get a part time job but if you will be missing too many classes then why would you be doing the masters program anyway? University is more like your job to attend, they won't be going after you like in school but there are ways to work within the university helping the library or as a student ambassador, I believe the salary isn't so competitive but at least it's a job at uni so you don't have to miss classes. Hey Kash, well, I think it's not a matter of universities here but actually which one you would like to study more in depth. Do you feel you're more inclined to marketing (I believe to be more creative) or business analytics (which I believe to be more statistical)? And also which one would benefit more your bachelors degree?

I haven't been to Dundee specifically but I have been to Scotland a number of times to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and other towns and can say its one of the most beautiful countries I've been to. But the cities really are to the smaller side. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking, the gothic churches and medieval looking streets always have this specific book-like atmosphere. It's probably cheaper to live and maintain yourself than in London, but also I am not sure how easy it is to get a job if you're looking for one. I'd recommend going on the university's social media, find some students, and reach out to see what they think! Does this help at all? Hi Nitin! :) I am still doing my BA so I can't be 100% sure on how good the Masters courses are yet. I do know they have just got a brand new building exclusively for the postgraduate courses and there always seems to be great debates and meetings happening in there every time I have been. The groups also look really small which is always good as you tend to get more attention from the lecturers and tutors, but that is about all I know. They will have an open evening this Wednesday, so maybe it would be worth going and seeing how it feels for you? I will put a link below to the open evening registration, and I hope this helps 😁☀️

To be honest, about the placements and if the course will be worth it, it will depend on you. A whole lot of the students in my class don't seem to care and they don't show up, don't bring materials, chat the whole lecture and etc. But we have access to so many tutors, a well equipped prototyping room and pretty much any other equipment / knowledge you might ever want. So if you're focused enough, I am sure you will stand out ;) but please go check their page and reach out to Najiba because she'll definitely be able to give better answers! 😁🤗 Wishing you the best of luck for your future!

Hey Ahmed! That's really exciting, they have just opened that MA actually, I believe our Head of the Architecture Department has been involved and working quite hard to open that course. Now, I can't guarantee it will be amazing because I haven't done it. Have you done much architecture visualisation before or do you work more with 3D products for example? I guess if you have a lot of experience already with Architecture rendering etc, I'm not sure if will add that much to be honest... Because I know that oftentimes we learn quite a lot at work, that sometimes we don't even get to learn in uni. Hope that helps, and good luck!

How many days a week are there classes at Ravensbourne University ??

Hi Dyuthi! It depends on the course and also your year. The higher the year the less time in classroom you will have but then you get to do more projects as well. They recommend you to dedicate a full 35hrs a week to studies, equivalent to a full time job, regardless of the amount of classes. So you should consider you will have 2 days off for work or other things :). Last year I had 4 days a week at uni. This year I will have 3 days. Hope this helps!

Hi May! I hope you're well :) Advertising and Branding is pretty much all about design and how that affects building a brand in general, plus the different ways you sell your product, and all aspects of setting up a visual identity. (Very business-y). UX/ UI is a relatively new course, I believe the first class ever is now on their 3rd year and both people I know have said you do a whole lot of experimentation from graphic design to 3d and it's quite fun and multimedia. But at the same time you will have to do a LOT of thinking and some programming too! If it helps here are the instagram pages of both courses so you can go and see what they are doing ;) @uxui_rul and @dad_rave. Also just a quick reminder, I am doing architecture but I still don't know what I want to do for a career 😂😅 so it's okay to have this doubt. Just go with what you're most curious about :) and Good Luck!!!! Xxx

Hi Ilaria, last year I was doing a part-time course called access, so we had about 16hrs/week (6-9pm Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays 10-4pm). This year I am doing full-time which is about 22-26hrs/week only weekdays and times vary. Hope this helps? :)

Hi Prudhvi, I appreciate your question but I am a student and therefore cannot tell you how long they will take to give you an offer. We do have a new building for the MBAs which is quite nice. Hi Pavel! No because Ravensbourne is focused on the Creative Industries like Design, Fashion, Film etc... Maybe other universities around the same area might offer that course like Greenwich University or University of East London. Have a look at those :) Best of luck!

Hi! I'm sorry, I am not doing that course, so I can't say much. I would recommend you coming to see the university before joining... I haven't been really happy lately, and half of my class has dropped out so right now isn't a very good moment for me to advise you. So sorry !
