Smart truck route 2 is best for android (android only) and trucker path is both iOS and android. I just keep my other Samsung phone on 1 mount for smart truck 2 routing, and my new iPhone in another mount for everything else, like music, phone, etc. Might try trucker path for routing, but I just don’t like how it only displays next stop info, as opposed to smart truck 2 which shows next stop and final stop info on 1 screen.

How does the GPS part of trucker path do in areas where cell service is bad or none at all. I drive the entire USA and am thinking of switching from my Garmin to trucker path GPS but am hesitant for this reason. Any experience with this would be a great help in my decision.

It is a must have for parking. I use it to supplement my companies GPS. I had the Diamond package but movie to the gold plan since it provides all the functions a company driver would need.

I had it for ab a week, the most expensive version but it jeot freezing on me while driving, or saying I'm 800 miles away when I was 600 miles away , always froze the app .. For me it didn't work right so I cancelled it.. Maybe is different on a iPhone but Samsung it has too many bugs...

Very good information that's the information that I needed with that being said so I tried it I went on I followed you then I subscribed and once I downloaded the 14-day free trial and I look at my bank account they charged me for $269 I did not get the free trial or anything then when I called them they were just saying we're sorry some one will call you back in 24hrs no one called so I called once again they tell me someone will call me back in 24hrs still eating not cool

Love the app but the trip planning feature has me pulling my chest hair out. Times for departure are way off and no matter how much I change it. It just doesn't update correctly. Hell it's now changing dates to like Jan. while I'm planning a trip in November

My Garmin will tell you how long you’re delayed. The trucker path app won’t. And also it goes based on speed limit, so if you’re truck goes say 68, you can’t set it to that.

I use a Garnen GPS. Dunno what kind of is. The wife brought it when mine broke. And it's always been working good. Tells me what roads are closed and where the weigh stations are at and rest area's and truck stops and other places. I use Google Earth to see what the company parking area's looks like. So I can tell what's it's going to look like when I pick up a load or drop a load off. There's been times it was hair pulling cussing trying to get in and out. At least places I been to always been easy to load and unload. Wife only hates backing up when it's a tight spot. But I am her eyes and we use walkie talkie's. The receiver deck boss was like wow u didn't have to maneuver around. U just backed up once. She goes I had my spotter points to me. She loved it when we got bags of Idaho Potatoes. She was like no wonder u bring stuff home. I said I love it when I go to Pepsi Cola Company cause I get allot of 1 liters of Mountain Dew. We are in Kentucky and heading to Florida. She's driving and 3 hours left to drive.

We dont even have a digital map of a single city in the US and this guy is trying to sale a US version. And where are these trucking companies going to get the routing to send thier new gps trucks? These big carriers want a 24 hour truck and they are going to put a driver in thousands of these trucks that they dont need a cdl because they are driverless trucks .
