You know, there's actually a business that 'helped' some of these influencers by renting luxury assets like mansion and sports car. It's mostly to convince people that influencer is actually rich so they can drag people into their pyramid scheme or something. In my country, we got a lot of cosmetic business using the same modus operandi to trap people into selling their cheap product at expensive price.
