I noticed also where the original blue/lilly backings where they are printed at are quite different also, mine is printed in china and i've been trying to find another like it and their getting harder to find without a pretty price tag...

If ever you decided to go for the Smith Waite Centennial deck, I highly recommend the Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative set if you feel like having some of Pixie's non-tarot art.

I got a deck like the one's where there stars on back but it's a spencer's brand which is wild has mythological creatures on it, which i haven't seen anywhere else but these are just like the backings of those the ones you got at the Halloween store so that's kinda crazy, maybe same company...

Thanks for sharing your Rider Waite collection. Is that an original Tarot Productions Albano Waite deck from the 1960s or is the 1980s reissue? The Golden Rider is gorgeous too.

I believe it is the 1960s version but I can’t say for sure because I bought it used and it didn’t come with the original box.

I read with most of my decks. Some are just for collection purposes but most of them I will use. I like to work with different decks at different times of the year. It helps me make use of all of them.

I am trying so hard to like the RWS deck but it’s still not doing anything for me. About once a month I will go online and think about it but after I look at it I don’t buy it. I don’t like the yellow at all , I don’t like the baby in the sun card and I don’t like the magician card. But I’m hoping one day it will hit me all at once and I will like it. It seems so popular but oh well. I’m watching this video thinking I might get inspired but so far not. I don’t mind some of the clones.

Bwahaha! It’s ok!! It’s not for everyone. Sometimes I go through a phase where I don’t wanna work with anything Rider Waite but I guess because it was the deck that caught my attention, I can’t shake it! 🤣

I don't care for the universal deck. I bought the more recent version and I've tried to like it, but the coloring is just fugly. It does zero for my intuition because I go ew everytime I flip a card over. 🤷‍♀️ I have always loved your Albano deck and should have gotten that one instead. It's still in print by US Games & probably listed on Amazon. Those colors just scream Hispanic/Latina to me. I'm a fan. Maybe I'll pick one up. I should go do that. Even though I just bought like 6 new decks... dang it Rose lol! I'm going to Amazon...
