Hello One & All, My adventures in Cameroon continues with a trip from Limbe to Buea. I entered Limbe through Mile 4 to Half Mile, then turned south east and drove through Church Street, then turned around and went towards the roundabout, then over Jengele bridge to Atlantic Beach Hotel. The area and road beyond Atlantic Beach Hotel looked deserted to me. I remember that’s how we used to go to botanical garden and jungle village. The area seemed so spooky to me that I made a U-turn just a few yards beyond Atlantic beach Hotel and then headed back towards down beach, where I made a left turn to go through New Town up to Saker Baptist College. From Saker Baptist College, I headed back towards Buea. Mola Kinge Namanga and I had arranged to go fishing at Ombe River but he was abruptly called to return to the Congo for a U.N mission. As such, all I did was to stop and take pictures of Mola Namangas’ fishing spot, Ombe river. Folks the 1911 bridge is still standing and used by pedestrians. Amazing From Ombe, I went pass Mutengene, Dibanda to Mile 17. What a refreshing breath of fresh air it was as soon as I ascended Mile 17 hill. A few feet pass the top of Mile 17 hill; I stopped to visit with some good friends of mine at the Orange network office in Molyko. It was nice seeing and talking to some nice Buea people after a long adventurous day. From the Orange office, I continued northbound towards Buea Town. I stopped by O.I.C in Great Soppo to visit with my friend Dr. Albert Lysinge. I took a couple of pictures from the balcony of his clinic before continuing further north. From there I stopped again to visit with my sister Ms. Betty Ndoko at her ELECAM office by the judiciary junction which is south east of Federal quarter’s junction. From there, I headed south west to the Post Office in Buea then back north pass the roundabout to Upper Farms. Folks, there is nothing left at Upper Farms to talk about. The road? hum, the milk factory? hum, the guava orchard? hum. The only beauty left is the view of Buea and its environs from that vantage point. From Upper Farms I descended to the old P & T garage then went back up the Synod Hill. Yes indeed, another great view of Buea and as far as the eyes can see, from this hill. From there I went to the Ex Service Men’s building next to the youth center, then, to the south east end of the Old Buea Government stadium. Here again was another great scenic view of Buea. From the Old Government stadium I continued to Buea Town where I went down the road that connects Buea Town and Great Soppo via catholic Mission. And just by Catholic Mission I found the comfort of home, love, happiness, food, my bed, and family to help me relax and enjoy the rest of what was left of the day.

Buea to Limbe is not that far... I remember my family use to make road trips most weekends to see the late Pa Arie of Brasseries du Cameroon..(usai we fit buy mimbo) oh what a wonderful 5 years spent in that wonderful wonderful country
