Good trick with the trickle in of the bicarb to allow the pH to change gradually and not stress the fish. 👍🏻

If you put a net up Ad's, make sure it's one that doesn't block any more than 50% sun. Reason I say that is I have a net/sun shade above mine and it too is coming down this season as it blocks way too much sun. Great for helping to keep the pH stable when the sun is beating down in the height of summer, but doesn't do the fish any favours in terms of UV exposure. Midnight looking sweet👌😎 nice little method for the bicarb addition too, tbh I just chuck mine in the bio chamber😅👍

Thanks for this info as I’m constantly trying to get my PH up. Am on a well and our tap water is 6.0. Constantly battling to keep my PH up. Love the slow trickle in idea of using drink jug! 😊👍

Each to their own I just throw bi-carb in. 200g at a time, never seen any adverse affects. Good tip though with the pims jug 😂

Next time! 😆 the sound was a bit muffled on this video mate, were you using the GoPro in the waterproof case? If so, maybe only use that when you’re doing the underwater shots, as they do cover the microphone? 👍🏻 great vid tho mate, apart from the footage of your bare foot mate lol looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with the roof 😊
