I am a new watcher. I am a 67 year old widow and I watch you and remember when I was a young mother of young children. I did the same as you. I disciplined myself into getting up early in the morning just to have a bit of time alone before the hectic part of the day started. It is okay to do that and it builds up your self discipline in doing other chores and routine things. I think you are doing a great job. I homeschooled my children and so having that routine was extra special for those years also. I know that you are not to the schooling time in your life yet but it will come in no time. Then you will be glad that you started this routine. Take care.

Kim, I have been watching you since before you had your first child. I'm so happy to hear the really upbeat, sassy, Kim-like tone of your voice in this video. I think you really are getting your groove back! Whatever you are doing, keep doing it!

Your a wonderful mother! I have watched your channel before your dirst born and now there are three wonderful little spirits. 😊 Being a mother is rewarding; however can be stressful. I enjoy it when you turn to the scriptures in the quiet of the morning. I miss those times when our children were young ones. I enjoyed getting them ready for the day, i had three children under the age of five. My husband and I are 64yrs old and enjoy our six grandchildren. I will continue to watch your channel it brings me joy. Have a great day.

My grandma grew up Mennonite. As a child I never realized she had long hair until one day I saw her looking in the mirror and putting her hair up in a bun like you did. Brought back a good memory. 🙂

My kids are grown and "gone", and the grandkids are piling up, but I enjoy watching your videos nonetheless. 🥰 You're doing a great job, mom! Enjoy those rambunctious boys. When your oldest hits about 5 years of age their helping will be more helpful, so hang in there! God sees.

Oh, I loved this video :) I’m a morning person, so I love the peace and quiet in the morning before the children (and husband) rise, but I understand that it can be a struggle to be the only one awake. I loved seeing this little snippet of your day - your boys are so precious and polite! God bless you and your family ☀️

This video really inspired me. And because of that, I've changed up my morning routine. Getting up earlier and leaving my phone out of sight makes a huge difference. I have 2 littles, and it's totally a job getting everyone dressed and fed including myself. But getting it done earlier in a timely manner helps!

I'm definitely not a morning person. Let me sleep. I'm an "old grandma", but I enjoy your energy. I've been trying to do better about getting up earlier and getting things done. I waste so much time sleeping in, but at times, I feel my body needs it. Have fun with the boys. They sure are cute.

Even after having 4 Children, which are now 24,22,17&16. Getting up early is something I need The Lord to help me with. I have read so many times in Scripture about Jesus and people in the Bible getting up early and praying. I like having quite time to myself to Pray, have some water and my Hot Tea. I have prayed for a renewing of the mind with how a look at getting up early. It brings less stress! Sets The Day to go much smoother as a Mom! To have The Quiet Time with Jesus and get The Tasks started! As an Older Woman with older Children. My suggestion is to keep that going with your boys, about getting washed up in the morning after getting dressed. It sets the tone for the day! Even with homeschooling our children and teaching life skills! They are getting ready for their “Job for the day”. When Our Children we’re little there were quite few things I felt like were easier to do myself. Now I think of how could of ask The Lord to help me be more patient and teach them life skills at an earlier age. They all know how to do Laundry 🧺 Well. I always have been pretty picky though, about how I do Laundry!

Wow you got so much done before your kids woke up! If my kids would stay asleep while I get up at 5/6 then i would 100% get up at that time every day but not even 10 mins later one of my kids wake up so it just feels pointless, when i could be getting more sleep 😅

This used to be our problem when we lived in a small home with bedrooms close to living areas. It's improved since we moved and the bedrooms are farther away, thank goodness.

I can totally sympathize with this comment! But eventually circumstances can change, right? Kids will get older or, in my case, my husband is able to be home a tiny bit later in the morning now and can take the kids while I go on the treadmill for 10minutes.
