Oh, Linda, I love your decorating! And I adore your home with its cozy feel and all the little nooks with shelving! We decorate early (right after Halloween) as we have quite a bit. I collect Department 56 North Pole Village pieces. At present, we have 92 houses and 200 elves! It takes a good amount of time to set all that up. Needless to say, it does not get put up every year! I told my daughter she is taking it all with her when she gets married! Lol! I am team BOTH! We have used both multi and white lights on our family room tree for the past several years. Thank you so very much ❤🤗. Wow I bet your home is magically when all your pieces are set up. My sister collected those when her children were young - now her daughter has them. Only about 8 buildings plus a few accessories but they look so wonderful when she puts them out. I’m team both too- lol. Usually I have white on during the day coloured at night. Yes Susan - when I was young it was coloured lights & giant bulbs 😂 I think a lot of folks do just white now. I have a couple of neighbours who are young couples - all white lights on their trees. I’m glad I can switch back & forth!

Hi Linda, What a lovely tour of your home and Christmas/Winter decor. I enjoyed every minute while having my pot of tea. Such a calming relaxing video. Your Family tree is so nice filled with memories.. All your warmers are beautiful We have the glimmer and glow and a couple of the natures wonders. We liked the natures wonders so much we decided to buy two more for gifts when they were in the last flash sale. Your Aziza is stunning and the pattern cast is amazing. I just bought one in my order December 1st as a gift for a neighbor but seeing yours in all its glory, I might need one for our home too. I love the lighted tree in your backyard sanctuary, it must be so enjoyable sitting out by the fire. The little candle windmill you have, I think the design originated in Germany or Sweden. We had one many many years ago that was called Angel Chimes...it was so pretty and the tinkling of the little bells when the candles were lit was so soothing. Thanks so much Lesley! Whoever gets those Natures Wonders warmer will love them! I’ve had so many compliments from visitors. This is the second season for mine. I hauled the Aziza warmer after seeing it glowing in my sister’s kitchen. It was so pretty I had to have it. Yes my candle windmill came from Germany - my daughter bought it for me. I love visiting her in Berlin in November-December because it is such a magical place at Christmas. They have some giant versions of those candle windmills displayed in store windows there. The Germans do Christmas well. Hope you have a lovely weekend too my friend 🤗💛☕️🫖

The Shining Light warmer?! I love mine. I bought it last year & leave it out all winter. It has a ‘cozy home’ vibe. I would leave it out all year except I have so many warmers I have to switch things out in the summer 😬

Thank you Angie 🤗❤️ I usually have the white lights on especially during the day or at night if we have company - it’s brighter. I like the idea that they mimic candle light. But I’m glad I have options! I love the reflection coloured lights give off!

Thank you Martha!🤗💛 Yes I’m definitely copying her on that - at least for my kitchen warmers. Those are the scents I’d most likely want to swap out. Coffee scents in the morning or say an air freshening scent like Coconut Lemongrass or Perfect Peppermint after cooking something like fish. Just temporary scents that you can use when you need them without having to empty your wax.

I use trays and risers all of the time! I just discovered that the birch warmer stands are so perfect for varying the height in the trays!

Yes - I love using the stands to elevate pieces especially when grouping. Great suggestion using the birch stands in trays! I haven’t tried that but I will. 🤗💛

Love your decor and love all your German touches as we lived in Germany for 4 years when my husband was active duty Army! I have one of the pieces that twirls with the heat from the candles only ours takes tealights and we light it quite often. It is quite entertaining for company who have never seen one. We also have 2 beautiful cuckoo clocks that we purchased while there. Thank you for sharing your home with us, it's beautiful! 😊

Absolutely gorgeous home tour Linda, I love it! It's not understated or overdone, it's just perfect! I love the idea of switching out the bedding for christmas/winter! I think I might do that next year, how fun! I laughed out loud at your comment about everyone having a bar in the 'rec room' I have the same memories growing up 😄 The mirror you have over the hutch in your dining room, we had the exact same one in our house when I was a kid. It actually had matching wall sconces too! I enjoyed this so much, thank you for sharing your home and lovely decor with us my friend 🥰❤

Thank you Brandi ❤️ lol my husband & I bought the mirror over the hutch for that exact reason - it reminded me of one my mom had years ago. We could have purchased the sconces too but I decided it would be a bit too much 70’s 🤣 When I was young ‘rec rooms’ were a status symbol - we had one but my dad didn’t approve of bars so he didn’t build one but we did have an orange fake fireplace on the wall! 😂I had guests over not long ago & they loved my bedding so much that they went out & bought plaid flannel sheets too. I enjoyed your tour, your home is beautiful! I hope the Nature’s Wonder warmer goes in the clearance sometime, I highly regret not getting it. We always had colorful lights on our tree when I was growing up so I have a soft spot for them, but as an adult for my own tree I prefer white. Having a remote that lets you change them seems like the way to go!

Yes my daughter lives in Germany. We are Canadian & live in Canada but when Amanda - my daughter - was in high school she went on a school exchange trip to Germany & met a German boy. They fell in love, dated long distance for several years & then got married. Her husband is German, she is Canadian & her children have dual citizenship both German & Canadian. They live in Berlin the capital city of Germany. I lived in Germany when I was young because my dad was in the Air Force & he was stationed overseas so my family moved there for several years.
