Sir James Shand MBE (28 January 1908 - 23 December 2000) was a Scottish musician who played traditional Scottish dance music on the accordion. His signature tune was "The Bluebell Polka".

First edition was on 10 inch LP's (PMD 10?? in the blue sleeve)Have to look up the complete numbers out of my collection,but I suppose this will do.These were Shand's heyday's but his later recordings as far as in his 80's were also 2nd to none.

Addition ....the very first edition was on the 78s.The early vynils mainly were a compilation from the 78s.
