4k seems like a waste of money. How much more clear and color enhanced do you need these movies? All these older movies are naturally grainy anyway. Blu Ray seems to already be so clear

Yeah a lot of the time, the difference is hardly noticeable, but there are sometimes that the change is drastic. The child’s play films look really crisp on 4k!

Awesome collection man! Understand what you mean about keeping movies that you don’t like but you would have more space honestly if you got rid of ones you don’t plan of watching again, and I definitely agree on the 4K thing! Idk why they are just putting the theatrical artwork, it makes you not even wanna upgrade because the blu rays had amazing artwork, that’s one reason people loved scream factory was because of the beautiful covers and now they’re ditching them

I imagine Carrie, Sleepaway Camp, and Silent Night, Deadly Night will be getting a 4K release from SF eventually. I’d be surprised if they didn’t. If Vinegar Syndrome wasn’t releasing Texas Chainsaw 2 they probably would have. I’m still surprised VS is releasing it as it seems like a film that’s too big for them. I love VS but their films can be hits or misses with tons of Misses. The Slip will be incredible for it though

I honestly see Scream releasing most of their old releases assuming they still hold the rights to them. I completely agree with everything you said about VS. I too was shocked to see them releasing TCM2, but they also recently announced the original Amityville Horror, so they may be putting their hands into the mainstream market. I’m excited about it!
