Can I use the momcozy s12 pro as my main pump and then the medela harmony to manually empty my chest afterwards if it hasn't already done so that way it doesn't affect my supply?

thank you so much for this. I will be an older mom (planning to start after my wedding in December) so it would make me 35. Im nervous I wont be able to breast feed, so Im trying to research now, learn as much as a I can and hopefully get a badass deal during black friday this year LOL. This has been fun, to be able to take my time and find things and hear what other moms have to say. And add in how I am, as a person lol. Because I know I would want to be able to see how much milk is coming out too.

If you are in the USA breastpumps are free through insurance due to the affordable care act for each pregnancy

I feel like I am nissing something. Everyone i see can get like 5 oz of milk out meanwhile im here on a religious 2oz...if its the pump, how do i pick the best one? Like which pumps help get everything out?

Besides the pump, I believe is the flange size that matters the most. At first I was using one too small, not getting enough milk out and also getting clogged a lot.

I NEED HELP! I'm due in 2 weeks (well scheduled for induction then, not actually due for over a month) and can't decide on a pump. Unfortunately my insurance only covers like 5 pumps and I've ruled out 3 (ones a handpump, one is Ameda which I HATED with previous baby and the Motif Duo), I've narrowed it down to the Motif Luna and the Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0. I need a STRONG suction and I may be exclusively pumping, especially at first as we anticipate a NICU stay, which pump would you recommend?? I've also considered ordering a Spectra S1 or Spectra Synergy Gold out of pocket. Do you think I'll need that with one of the other pumps, whichever you recommend, and if so do you recommend the S1 or the Gold (non-portable)?? TIA!

I honestly haven’t tried any of the ones you mentioned, except for the Spectra which was my primary pump.

Thanks! Definitely going to revisit this when the time comes to get a pump. I think I can rent one from the hospital in my country, but am considering buying my own because that just seems easier! I really appreciate your personal experiences using all of them!

*I got the blue Spectra and the Spectra Gold, I also hve the Medela Freestyle & Harmony and the momcozy😂❤ And tons more (Baby 4 comming in 6weeks 3 days or less). I can'twait to find out what pump I like the mouat but my guess is the Spectra also I do love the manuell one I did use it with my 3rd.*
