Thanks for the Q & A Darren. Another great hobby book is: "The Bubble Gum Card War: The Great Bowman & Topps Sets from 1948 to 1955". I agree on the "Mr Zul" signed reflection cards. He is overrated as he is a fat china doll. Hurt for 5 years straight and with that putrid team he will end this year hitting .220 AND he had to get hot to get there. 10 homers though. Wow, he's sooooo good. He is due back after the break and I guarentee he won't see the field again this year. I'm sure the guy who spent 3 mil on that card is very happy, Mickey Moniak is better. He plays. Speaking of the real Mickey Moneyiak, his cards are all underrated. He was an icon. 1952 is the most iconic card of all times and is a bargain at any price. Maybe not as good as the Weenie Wienerschnitzel card though. Cards HQ was packed. Nice tours!!!!Especially the graves. Too bad his "Uncle Otto" couldn't afford to be buried next to the Gehrigs,

Ha! Thanks Mike! The Mantle is iconic, just seems high for $40k in a 1. I agree, Cards HQ was packed... Thanks for watching!

Excellent video. I disagree about the Pete Rose Rookie, but enjoyed seeing your lists. If you were to expand the "Most Overrated" list, I would add the 1980 Topps Rickey Henderson and 1989 UD Ken Griffey Jr. Cool cards, but both are SO common, given their prices.

Thanks Mark! I 100% agree with you on the Griffey, especially! Glad you liked the video!

Agree with overvalued/undervalued EXCEPT Rose. (1) it is a high number and needs to be compared to Stargell, Dalkowsi, Staub, McNally and the price makes a lot more sense. BTW unlike others you mentioned like Carlton & Bench which were massively overproduced low numbers and common as dirt--part of the reason why those cards are worth very little. (2) It is an absolutely iconic card esp for anybody who grew up in the 80's, when it was the hottest card in the hobby for years. It is instantly recognizable (even by my mom!), easily one of the top 10 most recognizable cards of all time. It was one of the very first cards to be counterfeited. Not saying it is undervalued, but I think it very much deserves its status as the most valuable card of the 60's. Also I don't think there is really any downside risk but plenty of upside potential. All of the HOF run collectors will be scrambling for this card if he ever gets inducted!

Thanks Stephen! I agree with you on the Rose valuation if he gets in the hall! I'm a big fan of the card and have one in my collection. Out of the list of overvalued, I think the Rose is the "least" overvalued. Glad you enjoyed!

Great video. Like the overvalued/undervalued cards. Will never understand value of 52 MMTopps vs true rookie 51 MM Bowman - a much nicer image. Your daughter sounds like a sweetheart -glad she likes cards. Agree in meeting with #42 - his story is the story of race relations in America in the 20th century. Do more Q&A!!

I follow the Orioles closely. So much pressure on Jackson Holliday, he has such great expectations and hype before, Jackson even made his MLB debut. I really hope the best for him, but Gunnar Henderson and Adley Rutschmann are legit great players. We will see with Holliday. His dad Matt, started off his career slow too, but finished his career with a .299 BA. I am sure you remember him from his Colorado Rockies days. A professional hitter as they say. But I see some of the dealers at the Mid-Atlantic card show. A local show in Maryland. Jackson Holliday card prices, yes.... some of these dealers are quite delusional. But great Q&A, Darren! Going to tag in Theo, and pass the baton. For the next episode. Theo, when you see this. Ask Darren something smart!
