Nobu's biggest weakness is her being walking reaction check. It's either a complete wash through her insane chain pressure or instant L because of her recognizable 500ms opener and back lights/566ms chain kick so I have to risk letting heavies go and pray they don't parry them. You essentially have to turtle with her in order to succeed given how the current meta ever since Pirate came out or if you really want to reach Warmonger is "I press any button and you're automatically in the the least risky/most rewarding vortex you'll ever be put in." I remember someone in chat one game after he beat me saying 73 reps for a trash character and they couldn't be more correct. Good luck trying to apply offense against every full guard (particularly VG) or any seasoned veteran with reaction times for that matter. What gets me about characters with base their main gimmick around bleed is how Nobu who benefits offensively from bleed is trash in 1v1 but really good in 4v4, yet Shaman, a character who also benefits of bleed is really good in 1v1 but trash in 4v4. Meanwhile PK is the worst of both worlds by being trash in both 1v1 and 4v4. If you pick Nobu, just use Ocelotl instead since he too has infinite chain pressure but the risk/reward for his mix ups are way more skewed in his favor than Nobu since he has 400ms iirc lights instead of 500ms (that are horribly animated with lag), an opener bash, *feintable* chain bashes that do 18 damage that can't be GB'd (oh btw if you miss the bash you can light or zone *which you can feint as well* depending on some dodge attacks immediately after so he at worst he only takes minimal damage or at best he outright wins the interaction with a hyper armor zone), pin bash finshers so GGs to popping revenge when he hits you with it, and trade by using hyper armor zones which is why hes top tier in 4v4 and 1v1 while Nobushi is only decent in 4v4s but terrible in 1v1s. I'm glad I got to 80 reps at the time I got it with her because any longer and I would've had Kurt Cobain as my main inspiration as to why I will "disappear" one day.
